I arrived to find out that the hotel had no record of my reservation and was sold out. I even showed my confirmation number, but didn't really get much of a response. As I waited, the woman at the counter took her time helping some other guests and then told me that she could have somebody clean up an out of order room, but I would have to wait about 45 minutes. Nope. I walked. I know that all of this wasn't just the hotel's fault, but I think they should have done a better job trying to accommodate me or find me another hotel room since I had a confirmation number. Oh well. The hotel itself is nothing much to look at, but from what I could tell, if my room would have been available it would have been a decent place to lay my head. It's also super close to Werner Park and Cabella's in southwest Omaha. Speaking of Werner, apparently a good amount of training truck drivers stay at this hotel, which isn't bad, but just beware of the larger rigs and working man.

I reserved this hotel on Booking.com. My husband and son drove from Arkansas to Omaha for College World Series, over 6 hours one way. Arrived at 10 pm and went to check in. They were told that they had no room. That they would have to go find another hotel. My husband showed the confirmation and since the hotel was pay upon arrival the front desk said it was a Booking.com issue. Booking.com is making it right but in my gut I feel this hotel wanted cash in hand and sold my husband's room to someone else. No one from this hotel called me to confirm that they were still coming and according to Booking.com no one from hotel called to tell them it was over booked.

Tamika at the front desk gave us amazing customer service. She was sweet, considerate and very helpful. She turned an almost costly issue into a pleasant resolution. Thank you so much Tamika.

We stay every June during the College World Series when rooms are litterally impossible to find. Great price! Micro-fridges, DVD players and free wi-fi in every room. Best hotel experience we've ever had! The staff is amazing!Take out dog during day (no charge), kids get ice cream sundaes every night when we get back, guest BBQ's free to us and treats for all pets. They remember us and treat us like VIP when we walk in. Simple, clean, quiet rooms on an older property. It's a beautiful property with acres of grass and trees, look on www.facebook.com/HTLomaha and see how gorgeous it is!
