Hokkaido Ramen House

Really great experience! This has been on my list of restaurants to try since they have gluten free options. It's a cozy space with cool decor. They do have a separate gluten free menu that can be requested. The ramen itself was very good. Portion size was generous and more than enough. For silverware, there are both chopsticks and forks. We were offered complimentary mochi or fried oreos for dessert!

Have ya checked out Hokkaido yet? You should! Decided on some spicy, warm, cozy, noodle-eee ramen for a late lunch. Started out with their Bang Bang Shrimp but the bang bang on the side please! Not overly breaded and CLEANED out (that shit matters). Excellent crunch. Also snagged the Gyoza which was pretty decent. May have to try their veggie gyoza next time. While my favorite Dad ordered their Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl literally loaded for at least a few meals, T snagged the Chicken Rich Ramen. Flavored well, the wheat noods were something to get used to, but their egg, bok choy, chicken definitely hit the spot. My favorite Mom, got bold and ordered the Spicy (level 1) Hokkaido Ramen with a whole LOT of goodies; sriracha based broth, egg, bamboo shoots, bok choy... I ordered their Gluten Free Miso soup + tofu; also flavored well, no heat from spices (again, a me thing), excellent texture differences. We did not try their MANY Boba drink selections - or their Japanese sodas - but that's just our excuse to go again! We were offered their new dessert - Deep Fried Oreos - and although we were excited, gonna have to pass. They tasted very much like the oil the Gyoza may have been catching some rays in. Perhaps an oil vat solely devoted to those, would be best going forward

What a fun place to enjoy a meal, alone or with friends! The decor is a wonderful tribute to anime and toys. All the staff is friendly and welcoming. Cassie was my server and helped me pick out my meal. The crab rangoons were fresh and crispy and the ramen was quite tasty. I loved the broth and the soft egg with the bits of pork. Topped off with a fried Oreo, YUM!

Amazing, amazing service, super friendly staff. Very efficient too! The menu is varied and the soups are good! I think it captures the basics of ramen with its own twist and flare. The pop-culture/anime ambiance does add to its cheerful environment. If I had to be extremely picky, I'd say the portions are a bit too massive but, if you're super hungry, then go for it!

I love the anime decorations and books that adorn the place. Overall the place has a nice calm vibe, it would a great place to slurp noodles on a date. The broth is amazing. The best I've had in Omaha TBH. The egg was a bit in the sweet side and I kinda didn't dig that, I was expecting more umami. The pork was well cooked and tender and also flavorful. The ramen was spice leve1, virtually no heat at all, so I'll def increase the heat on my next visit. I really like soup spoon provided. It allowed me to take big sips of broth. The staff is super friendly. And I was surprised with small dessert, that turned out to be an Oreo cookie fried in a tempura batter. It was a bit sweet for me, but that is totally me and nothing against the Oreo cookie. I will definitely be back!

Stopped in on a Saturday. We shared Gyoza which were delicious as well as 1/2 a Bozeman roll. I had the spicy Hokkaido ramen. It was great! You determine your spice level. I got a 2 and there was a swipe of gochujang paste on the bowl that you can add as you see fit. Service was great! Our server provided recommendations. We also got complimentary fried Oreos- no pics because they went fast!

Been here twice so far and plan on going back again! The ramen is damn good and the theme of the shop is awesome.

Amazing food. Loved the fried calamari. Ramen was of course amazing. Our server, Johnny, was prompt and helpful without hovering. Really appreciated it.
