Hilton Garden Inn Omaha Downtown/Old Market Area

The Hilton Garden Inn is in a fantastic and strategic location, making it an excellent choice for travelers. It's conveniently close to the Old Market area, perfect for exploring Omaha's vibrant shopping and dining scene, and it's also near the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, which connects Nebraska to Iowa--a great spot for a scenic walk.The hotel itself is decent, with clean and comfortable rooms. While the bathroom in my room showed some signs of age, it was still functional and well-maintained. What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service from the front office team. They were incredibly sweet and helpful. When I mentioned wanting to visit the Old Market but found Google Maps directions a bit tricky, one team member went above and beyond--he actually drew a detailed map for me, which made my exploration so much easier.The breakfast at the hotel was quite satisfying. The eggs were cooked well, and the waffles were delicious. Beyond breakfast, there are also plenty of dining options nearby, both in and around the Old Market area, so you'll never run out of choices.Overall, the Hilton Garden Inn offers a great location, friendly service, and good amenities, making it a solid choice for anyone visiting Omaha.

Great experience at this Hilton Garden. Nice clean room and no issues. Reason for the 4 stars.... Need better pillows... way too flat. Great experience on check in. Liz checked me in, very efficient and very pleasant. I lost my room key and the next day I asked for a new key... great security when she asked for my ID to confirm my room number. I thanked her for checking my ID...Great hotel, highly recommend.

Upon initial entrance, the hotel is right in the mist of downtown extremely close to the airport and if you love sports bars, you will be extremely close to several sports bars.First of all parking is a little bit tricky how it's set up... you have to make an immediate left and when you pull in the parking structure, daily parking cost $22 regardless if you are a hotel guest or not.Secondly, the room we had, came with two double beds, yes it was very comfortable. There were two waters on a coffee table that came with signage which read if you were not a gold star member the water was $2 per bottle. I was completely turned off by that! (The signage was so small) & (It was Nestlé water which I wouldn't have drink anyway)Once getting settled, got in the shower noticed the water kept pooling at the bottom. Check to make sure the drain was open, it was. I was checking out the next morning, so there was no need to change rooms. I decided to inform the front desk and as I was letting her know in a condescending manner, she kept asking me well did you release the plug? Overall, it was just a bad experience!!!

Lifetime Hilton Diamond member. 200+ Hilton stays a year. The problem at this property is that the front desk personnel are officious, rude and unhelpful. They don't listen, they don't try to help. When you are unhappy and want to discuss something with them they're too busy multi-tasking to look at you, listen, and communicate. (Looking down at some other papers,etc.) The irony is that plastered all over the hotel is there slogan, "we'll make it right," but they won't even listen long enough to try.Facility is fine, service is subpar...by a lot.

Amazing rooms. I loved it! Great pool hour times, and overall very nice hotel. Cute flooring. They even got computers that you can go on.

Be aware there is construction going on in the lobby, although none of the main amenities do not seem to be affected! Staff was nice and answered gave great recommendations for the area. Location is blocks from Old Market which is a great area with attractions for all. Room was stocked with towels and clean.

Location is excellent for trips to the Old Market or the CHI Arena. Prices reasonable and parking on site. Staff was very friendly on check in and check out. The rooms, however, are very outdated but were clean. Our bathroom had loose tiles on the floor and the bedding (pillows) not great. But, for the price and location, not a bad choice.

if you want to get any sleep especially on the weekends, this is not the hotel for you. What passes for fun in Omaha is drag racing cars downtown--right under the hotel. And if you are going because it is pet-friendly, think again. After paying the $75 fee I got the recommendation to try a restaurant Addy's with a patio with my dog. I walked my elderly dog over there only to find a very friendly sign: No Dogs on Patio. I would have been better off eating Grub Hub and listening to the trucks right off I80.

We had an excellent stay here Christmas night!! The staff was so super helpful, especially in finding open restaurants for us on a Holiday night! Thank you John !! We were also impressed with the friendly staff as we checked out ... thank you Chad!!Overall we'd highly rate this hotel because every expectation was exceeded, the bed was super comfortable, super clean , and QUIET !Loved the coffee :)
