Catching a bit of Sun
Midwest fest
Look out
This not-really-accessible design is a big disappointment in this otherwise great park. Supposed to wind around those benches.

This area has been redone so wonderfully and is so fun to have outings at! I don't know how to skate, personally, but it is always fun to watch others at the skate ribbon. They always have fun music playing and it looks like a lot of fun.One of our favorite family activities is to go down to the small slides and they go down to the water. The swings are also a great addition! It is a great area to leisurely walk or bring pets as walking companions.

Heartland of America is one of the parks within The Riverfront. There is a skate ribbon to accommodate ice skating (winter) and roller skating. The main point of interest to me was the Farnam Pier. It's a cantilevered overlook suspended over the Missouri River and offer views of the water and downtown. At night, it lights up.

I love this park so much! From the landscaping to the diverse places to sit to the many different paths you can walk/run/bike on. I love how they have events and different things to do here a lot. It's so pretty and relaxing here. I have taken many people here and love talking while walking around here. One of my favorite parks in Omaha!

This is a breathtaking park that you will find in the heart of downtown Omaha, right next to the Gene Leahy Mall. It was imagined in August 2023 and is very modern and hip. This is a very picturesque park. It features an outdoor skating rink (skate ribbon) and has two levels, an upper and lower level, with both over looking the lake and Missouri River. This park has Bocce Ball courts, Adirondack chairs, hammocks, shelters and picnic tables to use.The skating rink is dual use. They have ice skating in the winter and roller skating when the weather turns warm. There was roller skating happening while I was there. The park also features an amphitheater that is beautifully lit at night. He can hold 200-250 people and has what they call a natural stage. You can take a bridge over to Lewis and Clark Landing, Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, and Riverfront Park. The lake is gorgeous and has fountains shooting water. There is also a large patch of green space, over 100,000-square-feet of it, that is suitable for a picnic, playing catch, tossing a frisbee around or other field activities. This park would be the perfect venue for small concerts and/or special events.I really like this park. It was a breath of fresh air. It offers nice paved walking/jogging trails with very scenic views. I could just sit there for hours on a nice day. The city has really invested in and revitalized this entire RiverFront area. I highly recommend checking it out while you are in Omaha.

Such great updates to this park over the years, and it's only getting better. You can get from the Gene Leahy Mall, to the riverfront, and more with all the walking trails. There are many places to sit and relax, play, and do activities. The area is also great for public events.

Amazing park! This is the type of park that makes you proud to live in Omaha. We parked down at the end, just across the street from the Gene Leahy Park. We walked the park, sat in the hammocks, then crossed the bridge towards the play area near the Luminarium. The kids play area is incredible, probably the best kids park I've ever seen...water area with pumps and toys, zip lines, slides, rope climbing structures, just so much to do. I definitely recommend this for those with kids. Also, there's a small cafe for coffee and such right next to the Luminarium.

Checking in at the new park in downtown Omaha!A beautiful extension to the already fabulous downtown park. The new area offers a great walking trail around the former ConAgra campus pond and ties nicely into the riverfront trail at the Illuminarium. Plenty of new landscaping and seating areas creates a wonderful spot for walkers/runners. A great deal of new metered street parking has been added parking is free on Sundays. A cool feature has been added at the base of Farnam Street which offers a cantilever bridge over the Missouri River. The semi bridge offers a really nice view of both downtown and the waterfront area. The added green space offers plenty of room for picnics, and the promise of future events. Check out the new park additions in downtown.
