Heartland Moving

As with any service oriented company, the product is as good as the people who are the face of the organization. The folks at Heartland Moving admin office were very helpful in explaining services provided that include moving and storage, specifically for larger and specialized pieces as pianos.Utilized their service for furniture removal in a portion of our house during renovations. The outgoing process did not go as smoothly as hoped. After sharing concerns, the boss himself was there upon return and things went much more smoothly. The company even addressed a minor repair while the furniture was in storage so that upon return there were no issues. Located in Sioux City, we utilized their services for the all in one capabilities of moving in storage. Despite a few bumps initially, I would use them again. Recommend Heartland moving for your moving and storage needs.

We used Heartland for a move across Lincoln last week, a 3 bedroom house. It was a rainy grey day, difficult working conditions. Their three person crew arrived early, worked hard and fast. They were extremely courteous, responsive, and careful. The move went extremely well and came in under the estimate. I would highly recommend Heartland and will certainly use them again when needed. I recently used heartland moving for a local move. Martin and his crew were very friendly and efficient. Nothing was damage and the job was completed sooner than expected!

We moved from Bellevue to Lincoln last week. I met with Lee about 5 weeks before our move- he came out to our house to do an estimate and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a quote and we booked our day. They sent a team of four people to move our 4 bedroom house. The team was friendly and efficient. When we got to the new house in Lincoln they brought on another team member to help. Overall move time took around 6 hours. In our initial quote Lee said we would probably need two days to move if they did everything so we ended up moving the boxes on our own and the team moved our furniture. There was no damage to our furniture and the team did a good job!

We have used this company for two moves now. Top notch in every way. Locally owned, we love that too. The owner comes out and gives you a bid, and it's been right on the money both times. Honest, respectful, our things were handled with care. We hope not to move again, but if we do we know who to call.

The packers were great, no breakage. The unpacked items were not handled gently. Totally took apart a metal lamp which took awhile to put back together. Careless scratches, missing piece, and additional unusual damage.

These guys are great! Courteous, friendly, and on the ball. They really listened to our needs and we never felt like we couldn't tell them what we needed. Lee is great - came out right away to do an estimate. Love that they are family owned. They were also right on time to our destination in Texas. I would definitely love to work with these guys again if we ever go back to NE. Thanks guys!!

Lee, Martin and Shawn at Heartland Moving were efficient, professional and great to work with during our local Lincoln move in a snowstorm this weekend! They worked with us to place all furniture in the new space and finished much sooner than we expected. Lee was very informative about the move process when he met with us before the move to review items to be moved and provide an estimate. We highly recommend and would use them again.

My experience was absolutely terrible. My items were NOT handled well at all. Most everything arrived filthy dirty and/or damaged in some way. Boxes arrived smashed, steel wheel casters broken on my grill (!?!), broken dishes, stained memory foam mattress, ruined finish on kitchen table, just to name a few. Customer service was terrible on top of it. I tried to support a local business and received terrible service! The owner was not willing to work with me at all on damages done and was even rude. I was referred on to a national company to settle, losing all benefits of working with a local, family owned business. I had used Mayflower in the past and wished I had used them again. I would have been way ahead financially to rent my own van and move everything myself. I would have saved money and the headache. Horrible experience and could not recommend them to anyone.

broke a bunch of my stuff and smoked pot while on job all while charging me by the hour. one guy smelled like beer and kept calling me lady. were very rude and still have stuff missing.
