Heartland Lawns

We have used Heartland lawns for our lawn service for 2 years now. Our lawn started off pretty awful, with tons of dandelions and other invasive weeds. Now our lawn is so much greener and nearly weed free. I'm incredibly happy with our lawn and the services we have received from Heartland Lawns. Definitely worth the money!

Bad business. Their crew did not service my entire lawn and I called to have them come back out. They were not supposed to charge me and yet they did. I decided to end my services because I did not see a difference in my yard. They cut off my ability to pay my bill and then kept sending me threatening letters about the bill. Called for clarification, she said she would call back and never did. Received another nasty letter about collections so I called again. No rectification or anything from Esther, my first treatment was supposed to be free and they ended up having me pay for it. I have integrity so I paid the bill I should not have had to pay. It is disappointing company's are not about service anymore, just money hungry. Do not recommend this business. If they tell you the first application is on them, they will renege.

We recently used Heartland Lawns for our sprinkler system repairs after moving into our new house. I found them based on a few neighbors using the company for their lawn care and now I can see why. First, their office staff (or at least the one answering the phones) was amazing. She was happy to answer the various questions I had before booking my appointment, and when she didn't know the answer to one, she sent me to a technician in the field to give me specifics. I can't think of the last time a company did that for me.Second, once the technician arrived for the appointment, he walked through the yard with me explaining everything he saw before getting to work. I really appreciated him taking the time to educate me on the issues we were having (a few more than I realized), but also saved me a few bucks by showing me how to do some adjustments on my own for the future. He definitely didn't have to take that much time, but it really went above and beyond for me. Lastly, communication and billing was and is very straightforward. Their website makes it easy to do everything online once you have an account with them. I'd highly recommend Heartland Lawn for sprinkler system needs and I'll be sure to contact them for other lawn needs now in the future too.

Great lawn company for all your needs and weeds! I used them for aerating and overseed, which cost me $100 total for double aeration and overseed for my front and backyard (small yards).Customer service was great. Due to a miscommunication, they only did the front yard, but when I called, they immediately returned to accomplish the backyard as well.Would definitely use them again!

Save yourself the headache's and avoid this company at all cost. They are certainly not the company they portray themselves to be!

I was dissatisfied with heartland lawns, I did my lawn for 40 years and it always look good. After I had a surgery and was unable to fertilize and do weed control, I hired heartland, now my yards has more weeds then ever before, looks terrible and may take me 2 years to get it back to where it was when I did it. There customer service knows nothing!

Heartland Lawns has been instrumental in reforming our neglected lawn into one that we are very proud of.

They move appointments and DON'T communicate with the customer. The customer service team puts in notes on the order, but the techs not read them or don't see them. This has caused multiple issues. What happen to communication - if you are moving an appointment I would suggest calling the customer to inform them. Especially if they have had issues in the past with your company.

Bad bad company. Do not use under any circumstances. Asked for a simple call ahead due to having 5 dogs and wanted to know when to keep them off the lawn. They removed the call ahead and showed up without notification after I did not sign up for another year. Then denied any responsibility and expect me to still pay for services I did not ask for or authorize. Buyer beware 100% and you will get duped if you use them.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. We spent over $18,000 on our backyard. Heartland cameout in September 2020 and put in landscaping as well as a poured stamped concrete patio (stained and sealed) It was beautiful! In November, I noticed a small crack in the patio. I didn't think a lot of it because it is the Midwest and cracks happen. However they finished our patio and our backyard in September. I wouldn't think we would see cracks less than two months later. We waited until February to see what the crack looked like after the winter months. Well, bad news, the crack was all the way to our foundation. We called and someone came out to look at the patio. They agreed to replace it since it had was stamped, stained and and sealed. We did not believe it would match the color if they just patched it which was a big deal since the patio wasn't even six months old at that point. Jason sent Eric the contractor for the concrete and his crew out to replace the concrete. Worst experience ever! Not only did they get concrete splatter all over the back of our house and our windows which are much higher level than the concrete since we have a deck with three steps to get to the concrete, They dumped concrete in our grass, in our flowerbeds and they left the plywood down on our yard long enough that it completely killed a very large section of our grass. And they damaged our deck removing the old pad. I was mortified. I called Jason who did come out and promised to get everything taken care of... This was the end of June. We are now mid July, Jason as well as Heartland has ghosted us. No calls No repairs NothingTo top it all, we have a crack in the concrete pad they just poured, stamped, stained and sealed in June 2021.We will be taking care of all of the fixes ourselves and we will seal they already "sealed" concrete patio again so that the crack doesn't spread.I showed several of my neighbors the work that Heartland has done or has not done, Oddly enough no one was really surprised several comments were "they are just too big". I'm not sure how they received Best in Omaha so many years in a row but they will not be getting a vote for me!I have warned all of our neighbors on our Facebook page as well as anyone who talks about doing landscaping. I hope word-of-mouth is worth what it used to be and I hope that Heartland Lawns realizes this is not how you take care of customers.
