Heartland Events Center

Really cool place where they held former indoor arena football, concerts, and basketball events like the Heartland Hoops Classic which was the reason for my stop here. Place holds 6,000, and it was up to capacity with courtside seats and suites as well. The arena is also set up with several concessions and a cool box office area. Plus a great LED message board and video boards as well. Was incredibly warm, the staff was friendly, and speaking personally- they had a great accommodation for media personnel and those who were there to either cover or broadcast the games.

Recently attended a concert here. The show was great, the sound and view were great. However, the seats need help! Way to narrow and small! People have great difficulty squeezing by one other! I thought that my seat was broken, very uncomfortable! There is no space and people are quite litteraly rubbing up against one another non stop! Make sure that you are showered and don't get upset when people get inside your bubble!!

I came here during the state fair to see Joan Jett. I am handicap and the ONLY handicap parking was over a mile away! I'm not handicap because I need van accessibility, it's because I can't walk far! To me this was not a handicap accessible event and I think the state needs to look into this!
