Small but mighty, Hay Jay Coffee, offers a friendly cup of coffee, or in my case a blended turtle with freshly made whipped cream! The owner, Dena, took care of our orders and heated up my husbands chocolate chip cookie to perfection.My chilled, blended turtle smoothie was deliciousness in a straw and my husband, who is not a coffee drinker, enjoyed this treat as much as I did. We asked about the name (Hay Jay) and Dena shared that they previously had a name that was confused frequently with another business, so a name change was in order and they honored their daughter with the name change a few years ago. We enjoy frequenting and supporting local coffee shops and will make a stop at Hay Jay when we are in the neighborhood.

Cute coffee shop on the way down Saddle Creek! I wasn't a huge fan of the coffee, I got a "Salty Jane Iced Latte" not sure if it was what I chose or if the coffee was a little bitter for me! But I would totally go back and try something different! They also serve a couple diff options for food from Sweet Magnolias! They have a walk up window with a parking lot & a drive thru!

This is super sweet mostly drive-through coffee shop. In case the address is confusing, picture the "peanut" intersection just west of the Homy Inn, Saddlecreek Breakfast club and Sgt Pfeffers. Then head back towards Saddlecreek about a block and you'll find this drive up on the north side. The scones, available in 2 sweet and 2 savory flavors, are delicious! Every beverage I have ordered has been prepared as specified and delivered with a smile and cheery greeting. They have a points program, tied to phone number and/or credit card so it's simple to earn more coffee, yay! My favorite latte flavors are lavender and salted caramel but there's a good number of flavors from which to pick. Small patio in front if you'd like to stay a bit.

Midtown is small, but mighty. Their customer service has been spot on each of the times I've had the chance to swing by. They carry local brews from Amateur coffee and plenty of syrup choices to make up your own drink if you're a latte or Italian soda lover.Prices are on par with the rest of Omaha coffee shops and they do a great job of getting you back on the road to your afternoon errand or early morning work meeting quickly!

Finally, a local coffee shop in my hood!Midtown Reality Coffee is located off of Saddle Creek, behind QT and by a laundry mat. It's a small building that is drive thru only, which is always a bummer to me because I prefer to be able to drink my coffee in a cozy little building at my leisure. Menu is decent, people seem really excited about the bulletproof coffee but I personally do not like it--I also do not follow a keto diet, so maybe that's why. They also serve goodies from my fav local bakery, Sweet Magnolias! Try the Raspberry White Mocha, it tastes like a Sees raspberry creme chocolate. :). Prices are average.Glad to have a new coffee spot in my area.

It's nice to have a spot for good coffee right in the neighborhood. The menu is pretty typical. The service is friendly and quick. I wish there was space to sit down inside, but it appears to be drive-through only. Ah well! I'm sure I'll be back when I run out of coffee at home and don't want to head all the way to the store to buy more.Bonus: They now serve sweet treats from Sweet Magnolias! Midtown Reality Coffee, along with Saddle Creek Breakfast Club is another business that is making Metcalfe-Harrison a destination neighborhood in its own right. Hopefully we'll see a few more new local spots open on the strip soon!

Friendly staff and you are never waiting long. I've only had the coffee which has been hot every time. If you enjoy flavored coffee, this may not be the place for you.They'll also provide a milk-bone for your dog.
