Hawk's Pizza

I've had Hawks Pizza a few times, both when I've been drinking at the bars in/near Benson (Infusion, Jerry's, etc) and they're always a quality choice!They have some standard flavors like pepperoni and cheese, but the true stars of the show are the one-off specialty pizzas they sometimes offer.My two favorite specials have been: -Thanksgiving pizza - corn, fried chicken bits, and a gravy base (chef's kiss!) -Zombie Eye pizza (I think that's what it was called...), which had a cheesy base with pepperonis that each had a dollop of cream cheese atop them and an olive to make it look like a creepy eye. This one was around Halloween time.No matter if you get a classic flavor or one of the specials on offer, just give Hawks a try if you ever see their truck around - you won't regret anything you get there!

I had Hawk's pizza at Late Night at the Zoo and I was impressed with both the quality of the pizza as well as the speed of food delivery. I had the Thai chicken pizza, which was delicious and I thought the pricing was very fair. If I came across this pizza truck again as a food truck, I'd certainly consider ordering

Ordered pizza to go from Hawks while they stationed themselves outside Infusion Brewing, Little Bohemian neighborhood. Crust is thin, easy fold, solid cheese to topping ratio, delightfully spicy sauce. Called ahead and they timed the pizza just right; normal cook/prep time around 5 minutes, took me 10 minutes to get downtown, Brandon had it hot and ready upon pickup. Cheese bread side with their homemade bruschetta sauce, excellent.

Very solid slice big but thin crust. The toppings were plentiful and the sauce had a ton of flavor! Tried this truck at the zoo i would definitely try it again!

I was pleasantly surprised by this truck. I went to a food truck rodeo before where the pizza was 8 dollars a slice so I was afraid that Hawks was going to be the same way. I think their most expensive pizza was about 5 dollars a slice and a one topping slice was less than 4 dollars. I think this truck was really reasonably priced and the pizza pretty good! I would return.

Found Hawk's in the SE parking lot outside of Jerry's Bar (6301 Military Ave) just north of Infusion Brewing Co. in Benson. Their main attraction is their spent grain pizzas, which I ordered two slices, the first was their Carnivore's Delight (Beef, Sausage, Pepperoni and Bacon) which came in a very generous slice, and was quite good for a midnight snack. The second I had was their That's Amore (White sauce, Chicken, Bacon, Green Peppers, and Tomatoes) which was alright, but nothing special. The crusts tended to end up to be more like hard crackers, but I would suspect that is what becomes of spent grain.As with most Food Trucks you will have to find their Facebook page to see where and when they will be. Absolutely delicious both the sausage and pepperoni. Cheese was perfect and I loved the beer crispy thin crust and spicy red sauce. I hope to get slices from this truck often.

This was the best Thai pizza I have ever eaten! I ordered from their food truck, and despite a slightly long wait time, this pizza was incredible! Will definitely eat again

Me and my family love the last few pizzas from here. We think the crust has been perfect and the toppings plentiful!

Had this pizza at a reception. The pizza had little flavor. The pasta salad was missing flavor. towards the and, the pizza crusts were burnt. Lady working the truck was not very friendly. Bad experience:
