Hastings Express Inn

We only stayed here because it was literally the only place we could find that wasn't booked out. This place is the very definition of a seedy motel. They take your payment outright and have a sign in the lobby that expressly says they don't give refunds after check-in. This is definitely because you take one look at the room and instantly regret your life's choices that led to staying here. I'll let the pictures do the talking on that one. To add insult to injury, the cleaning could be described as "cursory" and the mattress on the bed has to be at least twenty years old.Do yourself a favor and don't walk, run from this place. I almost would have rather slept in the front seat of my car. (Again).

Extremely filthy dirty old 1970's No Tell - Motel... Bath tub / shower was completely disgusting and filthy dirty. The Nebraska Health Department needs to pay this place a monthly visit. Definitely NOT sanitized or even close to being COVID-19 compliant. Services listed as included are NOT included or NO longer offered. Amenities Stated: Free Wi-Fi (Broken & Inoperable), NO Coffee, No Coffee in Office / Lobby or In-Room Coffee Offered, Free Breakfast Included (Canceled, No Longer Offered per Motel Manager), Free Local Calls (In-Room Telephone Non-Working / Disconnected , No Light's or Dial Tone)... Couldn't even call the front desk to complain about everything in the room was dirty, nasty and not working. Decor is completely outdated and is from the 1970's and has NOT be updated in decade's. Nothing works properly, faucet's drip ALL night and non-smoking rooms reek like Old Cigarette's & Butt. Checked in at 9:30pm, the room was 92 Degree's in mid-summer, A/C was turned off to save them money, the room didn't cool down to a comfortable temperature until 1:30am. Unpleasant, uncomfortable, filthy dirty and the entire place smelled like old Knee Braces, Butt & Expired Tubes of Neosporin. Stay in your car or somewhere else, you'll be better off. got a reservation and paid online. when i arrived i was told i didn't have a reservation and was refused a room by a man with very poor communication skills. so i had to make other arrangements else ware. when i finally got home and check i see they charged me $179.40 for a room that they didn't provide.

Our rooms were filthy. I reserved Our rooms by phone & Prepaid. When We arrived I was forced to pay another deposit & They insisted it had to be CASH! No Wi-Fi & only 2 channels on Our TV Our Friends TV didn't work at all. Black mold in bathroom & around baseboards.

The staff here are great, new manager onsite, so little different then before. Needs lots of improvements though I feel. I still think motels Rob our pockets in living costs, think they should review motel costs.
