I'm in my mid-20's and enjoy college bars but if you want to get cheaper drinks, better service, and have better conversation than you'd find at a full-on college bar head to Harry's. Really fun vibe inside, super clean, amazing service, and unbeatable prices. Got talking with the bartender and it's almost like we were old friends. Just a good ole' watering whole in the middle of the clunte

A clean, friendly, and personable dive bar with a Nebraska feel. Great music. Popcorn.

This might just be the ultimate Dive bar experience in Lincoln! And it's not that Divey! It's just old and bad ass! This is the type of place I would hang if I lived here! Full of regulars, drinking 2 dollar buds, watching the little league world series on the little tv's above the bar, playing pool at 2pm, eating free popcorn or hell they have Frozen Pizza's as well! The bartenders were awesome, providing a new frosty mug for ever 2 dollar bud draft you buy and trust me they go down quick when they are that cold! If you are making the treck across the lands searching for the ultimate dive bar's in the USA, you should totally stop here and pull of a bar seat! Loved this place!

Oh yeah....another dive bar. Most of the beer and liquor is fairly cheap. There's a touch tunes jukebox. The service is good and the other patrons are cool.I like the Captain Morgan statue especially. A couple things I dislike....it's cash only. No patio out back. The restroom could be a bit cleaner.

My go-to bars are usually dive bars. When searching for "dive bars" in Lincoln, Harry's Wonder Bar appears to be the dive-iest (in the best way). I went here the Saturday after Thanksgiving around 9:30pm. It was kind of dead (maybe they get a later crowd), but there was a great energy in the bar. The door guy was super friendly as well as the bartenders. The drink prices are reasonable , the restrooms are clean, and the people that were there were friendly (like walk in and you feel like you could learn these people's life stories over the course of the night kind of friendly). There is a single pool table, but it was occupied when we were there. I love this place. I'm not sure why other than the fact that it's a kind of cozy, friendly hole-in-the-wall.

Being out-of-towners, we didn't really know what bars we should visit during our night in Lincoln. While hanging out at The Spigot we chatted with a group of girls who, after listening to out stories of past barhopping vacations, recommended we check out Harry's Wonder Bar.We crossed the street to Harry's and found ourselves in a nice little dive, the kind of place we really like. Much better than some of the fratty bars we'd experienced the same night! We ordered beer, but evidently mixed drinks are supposed to be the way to really enjoy this place. The bartender made that point very clear to us, in almost a snide manner. :)To get his point across, he immediately whipped up a concoction for me to take a picture of. While other bars are stingy, this place serves up a basic mixed drink strongly poured in a beer mug. At least in the demonstration we were given, anyway.

Before visiting my mother in Lincoln, I checked on Yelp to see what dive bars might be interesting to check out. Harry's Wonder Bar was the establishment that jumped out to me as a really cool, older, character driven bar that must be visited! It's interesting to note the location, O Street but one block removed to the east from where the typical college crowd might wander. For me that's a big plus. The neighborhood turns slightly more gritty but in a good way. The gentleman's club is just a bit farther down the street and these types of surroundings are where many a great dive bar seem to sprout. Meter parking is right in front. The sign looks likes it's been there awhile and that's fine by me! I found the young lady tending bar quite attractive but that's beside the point. The daytime ambiance was casual and not too loud and my mother and I really enjoyed the frosty beer mugs! One surprise was the keno that apparently is common in the good life. Since I currently live in Las Vegas, I'm used to seeing gambling options everywhere but didn't expect to see bar keno in Nebraska. Next time I visit, I'll definitely come back (my mom insists!). I can only imagine how hopping this place is during game day but more than likely we'll just come back during the day in the middle of the week as Harry's Wonder Bar is a great place to relax with a beer and some good conversation.

Worst bar I have ever been to. Never go here. I'm 21 and they were extremely rude to me and grabbed the beer out of my hand. He tried to fight me and I am a 22 year old female. I would never go here ever again and would suggest anyone else to never go here. The rudest and worst service I ahve ever had.

CI went above and beyond the call of duty. As soon as my drink was looking low, CJ was there to fill it. When the night fell into a lull, CJ was there with a song to liven the night. A Harry's experience is incomplete without a run in with CJ.
