Harney Street Tavern

This is a good basement bar. We were there for trivia night, and a good time was had by all. The bartender serves well and quickly. Parking isn't simple, but we found a spot within minutes of starting to circle the block. Naturally, a spot was open in front when we walked up. :)We'll be back.

Run don't walk to Harney Street Tavern for their amazing new specialty cocktails! The Record Store is always solid! Tried both Fernet About It and Gold Rush....amazing!!!If you've never been here before you are missing out on the best basement bar in the Old Market!

Late night fun can be had in this great little rustic bar. Small stage...BIG music! Fast, efficient bar staff. Gets busy and loud, but who doesn't like a little crazy on a Saturday night?

Love Trivia nights here. Greg is beautiful, and peanut butter shots really aren't that bad. Service is A1.

Stopped in here after going to another bar with a buddy. No cover charge and the place had a nice vibe to it. Band was pretty good and decent space. Didn't stay too long, but would like to stop back when I'm in town again.

A nice addition to the Old Market bar scene. Go here for a good pint and some live music. The music aspect is especially fitting, because the Harney Street Tavern is located in the same underground spot as the old Antiquarium record shop. I didn't quite realize this at first, because the space has been completely gutted, but once I did I had a fit a nostalgia that I'm still kinda feeling.Anyway, another bonus is that there's no cover for the music and you can expect to hear a variety of genres, from funk to blues to jazz to singer-songwriters. I foresee Harney Street only getting better as its bright new sheen wears off and the space gets worn in.

Great service and atmosphere! Moscow Mules are pretty good!!! A lot of craft beers and domestic as well.

First bar I visited when I moved here a few years back and nowhere in town has compared since. I love this place and I bet you will too! Live music most every Friday and Saturday for a pretty low cover. I dig the spot.

Banana (the bartenders dog) is awesome!!! The bartender however could use some work on her customer service. If you want to make a joke with the bartender and have a good time Hailey is not the one to do that with. Instead, ask for Adam or Zach.
