We just built our dream home and unfortunately we were told to buy our appliances from Harman's because they worked with our builder. They were beyond unprofessional to us, and rude. They provided us with 3 refrigerators that were all faulty in one way or another. We hadn't even lived in our brand new home for a week and had gone through 3 fridges from this place. When the last one broke the owner "Sheila" told me it wasn't her problem and to call GE. She was very hostile and hung up on me like a child. Unfortunately we had to get our builder involved who then forced them to give us our money back, because even they knew Harmon was ripping us off.We are ideal customers. We paid for everything in cash and made our home accessible to them to come and go when they needed to come in and fix/pick up the fridges. They made us late for work, and miss appointments because of not showing up at the times they told us they'd be there. We dealt with many people while building our home and not one treated us the way Harman did. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! Beware all buyers, go elsewhere!

I can recommend Harman Appliance for all of your Appliance needs.I recently ordered a range hood from them and it was installed but there was a problem and we found the unit to be defective from the factory.Another was ordered promptly but again the manufacture must have had a problem with this model. I switched to another brand that they sold and am completely satisfied with the unit. What I was most impressed with was the great communication and service I received from this company. I felt like I was not just a customer but a personal friend the way they treated me. Monica was a stand out and I would purchase again from them in a heartbeat.Bottom line they carry many top brands and the service is second to none.

Having moved to the Omaha area almost 4 years ago, I was so wanting a free standing gas range with double ovens to replace the electric one that I kept burning food on :(. Growing up cooking on wood, and having built a new home 12 years ago, I knew that finding customer service from someone that specialized in Appliances was key to getting my dream. Internet searches provided me Harman Appliance and I was so happy to have found them. Monica took amazing care of my order, communicated with me when my original choice was no longer being made, provided options and I now have all new kitchen appliances that look and work fantastic. Their delivery/installer, Jordan was so careful and knowledgeable, showing me the features of the new refrigerator. John did a fantastic job installing and showing me the stove, over the range microwave, and dishwasher settings. Being from a small rural area, I was so pleased to have found a Gem in Omaha. Thank you so much Harman Appliance for all your help in making my kitchen smile.

Harman Appliance is pretty terrific. Monica bends over backwards to take care of her customers, and there aren't many places left that offer the level of personalized service you get at Harman these days. My experience is also that unlike the big box stores, they only carry brands they trust, and manufacturers that will take care of their customers. I've purchased a dishwasher from them, and I've been very pleased so far.

Harman Appliance is the best place in Omaha to go to for your appliances. In fact, when asking around almost everyone I talked to said to go to Harman. Both Sheila and Monica went above and beyond. They spent hours with me showing all the different appliances and how they work. It's a step above Nebraska Furniture Mart, Lowes, etc. because you really get excellent customer service with people who have been in the business for years. Everyone there was always friendly and nice even after I placed an order for a dishwasher and then changed my mind to the brand I was wanting. Harman always called me back right away and answered all the questions I had. They even offered to come to my home and demonstrate the appliances to me. There are not many family businesses out there anymore like this one so if you live in the area I would take full advantage of it!!!I also LOVE my new appliances!!! We have not had one issue with any of them! They really have transformed the look of our kitchen and I am so thankful to have had Harman's help in finding me what is best for our kitchen and our family.

We are remodeling my parents house in the Spring and wanted to look at the WOLF six & eight burner ranges with double ovens. The staff at the store were extremely rude and difficult to deal with at this store. They insisted on us providing information about who our builder is. Well, we haven't selected one yet. When we refused to share builder information they asked us to leave the store. We agreed that with the way they treated us that I will take my business to Ferguson, Factory Direct or NFM where they care about their customers. I will not ever go back to Harmans and will not recommend any of my friends or family go there either.-Andy

I think in every business you have to take one negative review with a grain of salt. My experience has been the exact OPPOSITE of the previous post. In every business there are the mass quantity businesses like Nebraska furniture Mart. And then there are the family businesses that actually care about you! In my many dealings with Harman appliance I can tell you that the quality is the highest in Omaha, the attention to detail and personal engagement is also the highest in Omaha. I'm sure you can save a few dollars at Nebraska furniture Mart. But when you're buying something as important as appliances for a new home or an existing remodel you don't want to take the chance of having issues. And at discount places there's no place to turn for service, corrections or just glitches. Monica, the sales manager, is hands-on, in your home as much as needed to get it right and very communicative with the builder contractors. She has been in the business for her whole life and knows know knows her stuff--and her contractors. (And this is SO important and often overlooked by consumers when choosing a kitchen professional. We all know that a bad contractor will ruin the timeline and the joy of the experience) She travels the country to keep up with the latest innovations and specifications. Everyone in Omaha who knows excellent appliances for quality homes knows about Harman's. Harman's is one of those businesses that really doesn't need to advertise. They have a wonderful showroom, by the way. Omaha, you have a jewel of a business here. (By the way, regarding the previous review that the "BUILDER even knew they were ripping us off" Come on, I've worked with many builders. The honest consumer-focused and service minded ones are extremely rare. I very much doubt what were told by the builder!)

I don't ever write online reviews, but my experience with Harman has compelled me to make an exception to the rule. We recently visited Harman to purchase a new appliance. Without getting into all of the gory details of our situation, in my opinion the owners are rude and clueless. When we visited the store to look at appliances, one of the owners had no clue we had spoken 3 days earlier even though I had given her my name and contact information. We were quoted the wrong price on things. We were told that a particular appliance would work in our situation, only to discover through my own investigating that the installation would be out of specification. They set us up with an installer who arrived on the day of installation to tell us the electrical work needed to install the appliance would be much more extensive than thought because the details of our existing wiring in reference to the appliance weren't properly ironed out ahead of time. When I confronted Monica, one of the owners, about the mix-up, her response was, "You could have chosen anyone to do your installation. We sold you an appliance and for us it ends there. This is now between you and the installer." She was rude and unapologetic. While what Monica said was correct according to the letter of the law, she did only give us one choice of installer, and I believe the blame rests on her shoulders for the mix-up because she did not correctly check the details when the installer came out to our house to do a pre-order inspection. When one spends thousands of dollars on appliances from a family business, there is a certain expectation of follow-through and excellent customer service. We ended getting treated very rudely without any consideration for attention to detail.
