Recently, I had a rather large original pastel that needed framing. After searching for some time online and with some other local stores, I found that Hangups was the most reasonably priced. After getting it framed, within the same day I hung it up I had the pastel fall off the wall at no fault to them. However, I called them up, told them what I had done, and they told me to bring it back in to get fixed. They were able to salvage as much as possible of the frame and did not charge me for the additional labor. The owner even delivered the painting and hung it himself (because at that point I knew I could not trust myself). If I ever need anything framed again, I know I will bring my business back here!

They do a wonderful job with your artwork! I went in to have a wedding photo framed but I had no idea how I wanted it to look. Steve talked to me about the area my photo would hang and came up with several options that I loved. They were very quick & the final product looks beautiful! Excellent customer service & high quality materials.

They have done excellent work for me. I have asked them to re-mat 5 original watercolors with acid-free mats and museum glass. The paintings are all about 80 years old but with the work done by hangup they look practically new. The shop also removed and preserved the various labels on the back of some of the paintings showing where they had been exhibited. Very professional.

Several years ago, I took family heirloom pictures to Hangups for framing. On the back of one of them, written in my great grandmother's hand, was the history of the pictures. I was very specific that I wanted that portion of the back preserved with the new framing. When I returned, I was sooo excited. Only to find that the handwritten portion was NOT on the back and they had no idea where it had gone - though was likely discarded. i was heartbroken. The owner apologized but the attitude was "too bad, so sad". He made no offers to compensate me on any level. He didn't even discount the frames that ran $600. I now have an original piece of art to be framed. I noticed this on YELP and want to warn all others to go elsewhere if you value the art you want framed.
