For a good, reasonably priced haircut downtown, this is the place to go. Ask for Kitty or Kim K.

I have had crazy curly hair my whole life. I got the WORST haircut of my life in Seattle as a sophomore in high school. ("Oooohhh, you have natural curls! You need to LAYER it and GO WITH the curls!" Then her face went white as my curls shrunk up into a tight afro!) I wore it in a pony tail and let no stylist NEAR me for YEARS. Fast forward to my sophomore year in college at UNL. I knew I REALLY needed a cut (obviously!), but was horrified. I interviewed a number of stylists (yes, I interviewed them!), and found Kitty. She listened, asked questions, and was MY stylist for the next 10 years. The funny thing is, I only lived in Lincoln for 3 of those. I would call Kitty whenever I was in the area (from New York, Germany, and Washington) to have her cut my hair. Unfortunately, now with 2 kids and a husband, we don't get back to Nebraska quite as often, but I'll FOREVER be grateful to Kitty and a decade of fabulous cuts!
