H.I.S. Auto Care

Good service. I made an appointment about a week in advance (they seem pretty busy, so don't expect to just walk in). I dropped my vehicle off as they were opening that day and they had my work done by noon. They followed up with me the next day to make sure everything was running well. While briefly chatting with the staff, their identity as a Christian business appears to be legit. I'm surprised they don't get more hate from the locals in this city, since there are a lot of the rainbow flag waving censorship types around here. I'll probably be back the next time I need a mechanic.

Very nice thorough place. I haven't been in Lincoln very long so when finding an Auto Care shop to diagnose my car I was very nervous. H.I.S. was right down the street from me and heard great reviews; plus I had a coupon. They did an engine diagnosis and an oil change for a great price. It was easy to schedule an appointment and they have fantastic hours.Though they were the bearers of bad news, they broke it to me nicely and honestly. They didn't do any repairs without my permission and gave me an estimate right then and there.I couldn't give five stars, because I was supposed to pick it up on a Friday at 5pm, but when 5:30pm Friday rolled passed without word, I called in and they hadn't gotten to my car yet, and could have it done first thing in the morning. Just would've appreciated a call about that before 5pm rolled around so I wasn't left wondering. Other than that, very nice and reliable. I'll be bringing in my next car for tune ups and oil changes here from now on.

Great family owned joint. They also do Uhaul rental which is a bonus in this neighborhood, that is kinda lacking for amenities. Everyone is super nice, it's small and sorta limited but carry most anything you would need

If you like to go into a store and be ignored then this is the place for you.I however, will not pay someone to be rudeEnjoy

Over the years, I usually take my 2007 Lexus there for routine repairs and maintenance because it is convenient and close. Not especially cheap, but I trust them to do a good job.Haven't been disappointed yet.

I had a low tire on a Saturday afternoon in Lincoln. After making multiple phone calls, HIS Autocare and Wal Mart were the only ones who would work me in, and HIS was the most accommodating. Very friendly. They did not make me feel like it was a burden to work me in, even though they were very busy. They seem to have a great business in a somewhat humble setting. I would not hesitate to go back.

I really like these guys. First off, they're very convenient. Their shop is attached to a convenience store that's open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m, so you can drop off and pick up your vehicle at a convenient time before or after work. That comes in very handy for someone like me, whose mornings are pretty hectic getting myself ready for work and getting kids dropped off. We drop our vehicle off the night before our appointment, and that works out great.Second, these guys are very honest and dependable and are also reasonable on their prices. The guy I've always dealt with is Orville, and he's always been very polite and does a good job explaining what's wrong with the vehicle. They replaced my wheel bearings, and also told me my rear brakes were close to needing replacement. He gave me an estimate on what the brakes would cost, but in no way pressured me to get that extra work done. That's a sign of a good mechanic.I can't recommend these guys enough. They're awesome!

The guys are simply incredible. Treated us with respect and courtesy over the phone as we were broke down passing through town. Got us in and performed a differential rebuild in a day! We were able to talk to the mechanic and when they found out we were on a cross country trip took the time to look over the truck to make sure we would not encounter any other issues. 3 days later I get a text from the owner making sure we were still OK. If I lived in Lincoln this would be my only car repair shop.

horrible experience! I took my truck in to have to cabin blow hot air again, I said I think my heater core or radiator may be plugged. they called me and said my thermostat was the problem and my coolant doesn't need flushed. when I arrive to pay and take my truck they happily took my money but my problem was not fixed air temp was just where it was when I dropped it off. The owner literally gave zero fucks about my concern and said ill need to put more money towards it after I gave him $200 already. these people are scam artists, I wouldn't even buy a pepsi from this place.

This place was a surprise and gift. Pulled up for gas and to get air and a young man popped out of nowhere to help. Made our day feel so blessed. Great service and wonderful feeling.
