We don't make it out to Ralston too often, but on our most recent visit, we decided to visit the Ground Zero comic shop there, and it was delightful. There was a tournament going on in one of the back rooms, so it was a bit busy, but the folks working still helped us find certain things we asked about and were happy to do it. They have a ton of current comics, as well as lots of vintage comics, which was what we were on the hunt for (and found!)Aside from the main shop and the back room for games/tournaments, there's also a little side room that has toys, collectibles, and comic book sets (like all issues of a certain run, bundled together).Overall, I'd definitely recommend stopping here if you're on the hunt for a certain comic, figure, or game. It just felt like the people here enjoyed what they do and like helping collectors find what they're looking for, sincerely wanting you to have a good experience at their shop and come back (which we will!)

My first time in Omaha and I had some free time so I checked out Ground Zero. Google maps had some trouble accurately locating the store, but once I found it, I was impressed. The storefront is deceiving; it is bigger on the inside! Well organized and quite a collection of back issues as well as current books. They also have graphic novels and collectables. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was worth the trip. Thank you fine folks at Ground Zero.

I have been a customer of Ground Zero since they opened their first store nearly 30 years ago. They've always had a great selection of comics, statues, toys, graphic novels, games and more. While other local stores offer 20% off comics on sale days, Ground Zero offers 50% off almost all of their comic backstock and graphic novels EVERY DAY! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Great shop in Omaha. All back issues are 50% everyday, all day. You don't need to be a club member or pull file customer or a friend of the owner. Everyone gets the same deal. Even high end Silver Age books are 50% off CBG price. They have two rows of comics that go around the entire walls of the store. Now they have a brand new HUGE graphic novel, trade paper back and hard cover section that is also be 50% off! Its the only store between Chicago and Denver that gives this kind of discount. There is also a huge role playing and board gaming section with new inventory all the time and the lowest prices in town.

Great comic book store! I was passing through Omaha and didn't have much time to stop but I'm glad I did! From the outside it's a standard comic book store front. Inside is a great selection of back stock! All back stock was 50% off cover price! I was able to find numerous books I'd been looking for. Ground Zero's back stock is organized down to perfection! First by publisher then alphabetized titles then by number. Thanks to their organization I was able to quickly scan there entire Marvel stock and find what I needed.New issues are nicely displayed on wall shelving, which in my opinion made it easier to browse then the standard tiered magazine style shelves. Ground Zero also has a plethora of card games and comic merchandise. The staff was also extremely helpful and polite. I'm glad I made time to stop here on my trip and would defiantly make time again! Don't miss out on the great comic book store!

I love hanging out at Omaha Ground Zero. I am not a comic book fanatic (I like the Watchmen, Saga, and am getting into Sandman and a few other titles, but I do not know a lot about comics) and nor do I play tons of games, but my boyfriend really loves playing magic here. I decided to tag along once and everyone was so friendly, I bought an EDH deck and card case. I've played a couple of games of magic there and everyone is super helpful and fun. It's fun.

Visiting Omaha for work and today was off so went to explore the comic book offerings of the area. Up until i came to Ground Zero I was wondering where the actual comic shops are in the city. Ground Zero did not disappoint. The selection of back issues, the young lady working the store and the clean easy to find and search back issue bins were worth the disappointment of the other stores. Ground Zero is a Gem. If you are into comics this store is your place to go.

I love the Omaha store but not so much the Bellevue store. Bellevue is closer and they have a lot of comics that I would love to purchase but they don't do 50% off all the back issue comics. They only do 50% off the middle comic section which is a lot of more recent issues. I will be sticking to the Omaha store from now on and won't waste my time trying to give Bellevue any future business or recommendations. The guy at the Bellevue store would also rather chit chat instead of helping customers.
