I traded in a truck for a used car with Blake at GY Chevy. Blake was low pressure and let me thoroughly kick the tires on the used car I was looking to trade for. Price was good/great, the value I was given on my trade was in line with market value. The process took some time getting through finance and the sales tactics for service and warranty stuff stinks but that happens at every dealership anymore, unfortunately. There were a few small issues with the car that were noticed as they topped the gas tank off for me which delayed my taking delivery of it by 2 days but GY Chevy fixed them and made sure the car was right before I took off with it which I am thankful for.Blake did a good job and GY Chevy did as well. Overall I am pretty happy with the experience.

I drive GM products. I purchase new every couple years . The Chevy dealer I frequent are not located in Omaha !I have tried GY Chevrolet more then once because they are close to my house. but, always end up 30 miles from my house to buy new Chevy's. Whenever I call GY dealership we Always get off on the wrong foot is the best way I can explain it. Communications are mostly rude from my experiences. Unfortunate looks like a nice dealership !

Had a great experience with the crew at Greg Youngg. Bought a Hummer H3 Alpha from them sight unseen. They disclosed all blemishes and asked to keep it for an extra week to service and address any issues it may have had before I flew in and drove it back to Southern California. I'd like to give a shoutout to Andy (Andrew) Kohl from the Service Department for his excellent customer service whom followed up to make ensure that it was performing as advertised.

Today I took my wife's 2012 Chevy Cruze into the Greg Young Service department for an unknown electrical issue. They called and advised, that it was the Negative Battery Cable that was bad. Quoted price: 535.36 After doing some research online, I found a GM Issued Service Bulletin (14311B) That listed the part number as well as required Labor time to fix this problem. Required Labor time by GM service bulletin: .9 Hours Greg Young wanted: 59.99 For part # 22754271 GM Direct Online Wanted: 20.96 After bringing the Service Bulletin to there attention they immediately started to look into the quoted price and stated that it was incorrect. The cost to fix it was going to be: 134.99. Then bringing to there attention the price for the part on GM Online was only 20.96, they had to go and re-quote me once again. Greg young ended up charging me 28.64 for the part. I ended up paying a total of 105.64 with parts and labor. Initial Bill: 535.36 Bill after research: 105.64 Total Savings: 429.72 Take your car someplace else!

Nice dealership. There's a cafe to get your grub on while waiting for service or oil changes, etc.

Oh where to begin with this experience. I was looking for a third row suv very close to the end of my pregnancy and found a few I liked at Gregg Young. The sales rep that responded to my general inquiry on the website reached out to set up a time. I wanted to look while my kids were in school, so day time worked better than evening. The sales rep has a full time job outside of the dealership, but he made arrangements to meet me during the day. However he let me know he used his PTO to meet me. So I immediately felt guilty and like I had to make a purchase. I didn't really find anything that day and wanted my husband to come back with me. When we came Saturday morning we looked at a few vehicles. When we came to talk numbers the sales rep offered breakfast from their cafe. My husband ordered and item and as the rep walked away he says "so I'm going to buy this for you, do you think you can make a purchase today!" Talk about uncomfortable...is an $8 burrito the same as a $45k vehicle? When it came to numbers/payments they were pretty high compared to other Chevy dealers and while the rep proclaimed they cannot be best on price we ended up finding the same Chevy package at a different dealer with a payment almost $60 less per month. Overall the service was that of a cliche and their pricing may not be the best in town.

To start with a little background, I'm a single mother of three and have taken my 2012 Chevrolet Traverse to Gregg Young. Over the past two years at Greg Young...between my extended warranty company and out of pocket expenses they've been paid more than $9700 probably closer to $10,000.00. The most recent was timing chains replacement, intake and exhaust actuators in both banks, the upper motor mount that bolts to the front cover, and an oil change done in January-February 2024. The oil pan gasket was being repaired at the same time because it was under warranty through Greg Young because the last time they had repaired it the repairs had failed (this was the fourth time). When I brought the vehicle in, it was hesitating to accelerate, making noises, and throwing a P0011 code. I've done regular oil changes and maintenance on it as it was a requirement of my warranty company. $4000 later I get the vehicle back, had completed an oil change because it was due for one at that time of repair and I reset the oil life calculator while still in their service center bay. I received the vehicle back the beginning of February. Fast forward to April, mind you I only take the vehicle to take my daughter to and from school and on errands occasionally. It starts jumping during acceleration ever so slightly, so my dad who's a master mechanic checks it, and the service engine soon light comes on. The code is the same P0011. It starts hesitating to accelerate. It's going through fuel like crazy but the oil levels are remaining the same and there's still 12% oil left on the computer. There's no leaks. I called to get it in right away (the timing chain repair should obviously still be under warranty.) I was told it would be almost a week and a half before they could fit me in. I stressed the importance of needing to have it looked at. I was told it was the soonest available. I scheduled for 4/30/24 in the morning but called three times over the course of the week trying to get it in earlier. The 30th comes around and I take it in. I don't so much get home in the loaner vehicle which is a 30 minute drive and get a phone call there's no oil on the dipstick and they need to do an oil change. I tell them that's not possible or something is wrong because I just checked it the night before and it was fine and there was 12 percent oil life left on the oil in it. I hear nothing the rest of the day. Then get a phone call the next morning saying the bottom half of the engine fell out while it was there due to it having no oil and that the "code that the computer was presenting is not the parts that were failing." Mind you I never had a check engine oil light because there was oil in it...now they want me to pay $5000 for a new engine or I'm out of a vehicle. Do NOT have your repairs done here as you'll get shoddy work, mechanics that don't stand behind their repairs, service advisors that are complicit in trying to cover up shoddy work, and you'll end up screwed and they'll just keep trying to bleed money out of you.

I was on a road trip through Omaha and drove over a pothole that caused a bent rim on my minivan. I was told that to run diagnostic on potential damages besides fixing the rim would cost $130 unless I do the repairs. They came back with a long list of things totalling $3500 (some of which I found out later to be not critical). I had no time and no money to do the repairs and had to pay $130. I equate it to highway robbery.Update: I've now lived in Omaha for seven years, and would recommend against going to this dealer for sales and service every chance I have. They try to rip you off.
