I was in negotiations with Chas in their Atlantic Iowa location for over a month. Finally we come to an agreement and he told me to come Monday to get my new truck. I call 8 am Monday morning and he says that someone put a deposit on the truck I was looking at he tells me this over email. So I call and speak to another salesman who say yes the truck is still here and for sale. Then I receive a call that that was someone new who didn't know that it was sold. There were two trucks I would have bought. Come to find out they didn't sell either and they just moved them to another location. Chas is a fat mouth liar and their dealership is a bunch of crooks whose word is worthless. No ethics morals or decency. Have fun selling cars low life scum bags you are exactly where you belong. I would give these guys zero stars and recommend buying anywhere else but here.

I bought a pre-owned vehicle from this dealership in 2020. It is a 2019 Ford Taurus Limited. We've had the car for a little over a year and was very happy with the services that we utilized from the service department. We had a 12-month warranty included with the purchase of the vehicle and thankfully had very little trouble with the vehicle. That warranty expired in October of 2021. Unfortunately, I had a small fender bender which resulted in me having the car towed to the dealership on March 17th. There was an assessment performed of the vehicle 3/19 where they told us there was a minor suspension problem and we were free to pick up the car and drive it home or wherever we planned on having repairs done. Once I started to leave with the car I realized there was no way this car was drivable at all. I could've been killed. With that being said, I left the car there where I scheduled a full diagnostic on the car which I assumed would've been done before the initial diagnosis of the vehicle. The following day I was told the car needed an upper control arm on the rear drivers side. They quoted us approx. $900 for the job. Before giving the ok we went to the dealership to discuss a buy back program that they were offering. I agreed to trade in the Ford for a new Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. Thankfully my partner did not agree to the trade in and once she read the paperwork she outright refused to sign anything to seal the deal. She's the primary borrower. The very next day we brought the new car back and just said to fix the Ford. We were told the job would be done the next day. Well, here I am 7 days later writing this diatribe to you. The car isn't fixed AT ALL. Strangely I was told it needed two other parts to fix it that would cost $700 more and take 3 more days. I couldn't wait that long. I'm on the verge of losing my job. I called them and told them to forget the whole thing and a tow truck would be there for it shortly. The receptionist said no problem, she understood completely. Once the tow truck arrived on scene someone in service told them they weren't releasing the car because of an outstanding balance. Mind you, we were told earlier that the car couldn't be repaired until Friday because the new ordered parts were a necessary first step so they couldn't do anything until that time. Now, miraculously the control arm was installed on the vehicle and they insisted on their $900. My car is being held hostage by a bunch of scoundrels who are pissed off because we refused to buy the car they wanted us to have. I'll also throw in that when that was happening, they only offered ONE, yes ONE vehicle for us to be able to purchase. I strongly suggest that you think twice before purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. It's all friendly and helpful for the first year, but after that you are on your own or at their mercy.. Good Luck Folks.

Our van was totaled in a roll over just before Thanksgiving. We happened upon Gregg Young Auto in Lincoln and met Eset Govori. He was very knowledgeable and able to fit us in a beautiful suburban that day. Anytime you are in the market for a car, he is the man to see! He will go the extra mile for you to get you in the vehicle you need. You can email him at [email protected] to get you started or head down to the dealership. Eset does a great job! Easy financing is available and they get you on the road in no time.

Honestly I'd rate this place zero stars if I could. Bought a 2016 jeep renegade here in May 2021. Bought into all their extended warranties and was lied to about the coverage. Paid to have it "certified" from jeep which requires an inspection. Received a dirty car with multiple cosmetic defects which were not disclosed. Not just scratches but a significant dent in the front fender. Bought the warranty for cosmetic issues and was assured the scratches would be fixed when the ceramic coat was put on. Had the car a week and the AC went out completely, 4-wheel drive wouldn't engage when needed, front passenger wheel was noisy, and the remote start wouldn't work. I feel like some of this stuff would have been caught in the inspection. Sent it back for repairs under the warranty. They had it for 3 weeks with no updates. When I call them I can't get ahold of them. Straight to voicemail with no reply. I actually had to call a different department and insist someone walk down there if I wanted to get ahold of anyone. A couple months after these repairs my check engine light came on. Took it back with a bad thermostat. They said they replaced it but the check engine light came on after about 100 miles. Took it back "bubble in the coolant" so they filled it and I went and got it. Same amount of miles later the check engine light came on. Checked the code. Thermostat again. Car idles high and now the heater barely gets warm. So sick of this car and this place. Do not do business here. If you need a repair it will not get fixed. Spent a couple hundred dollars going back and forth to Lincoln for the problem to not get fixed and it is now out of warranty.

In November of 2021, I and my wife went to Gregg Young in Lincoln, NE to purchase a vehicle. We did end up purchasing a vehicle. I know the market is pretty bad right now but first off, they were not willing to move even a little bit on the vehicle price. Okay, no big deal. They did manage to get us a better rate than USAA so that is good. However, the worst part of this thing is after the full 30-day transit period they did not have the title sent correctly to the DMV. It had been sent back not to the Lincoln location but one of the locations in Douglas County, twice by the time we tried to register it. On top of that, they did not give us the correct tax form to register it. Not that it mattered since it took them another week to get the title. My wife called them about 5 days after we first tried to register it and they were supposed to be working on the title. They said that they would call her back that same day but it took them two days to call back. Then they needed the vehicle at the DMV to have it inspected because it was an out-of-state title. So, we set a time for 1:30 in the afternoon that day, Friday, one week after the transits expire. I was running slightly late. They called me at exactly 1:30, I did not answer since I was almost there. Then I get another call about 2 minutes later for the store location, they leave me a voicemail. I arrived at 1:34, so I was late a few minutes my bad. The point though is that we have been waiting a week without a vehicle but they are unable to even wait a few minutes without blowing up my phone. It is not over yet. Then finally then next week on Tuesday they need either me or my wife to come to sign the title. It is my wife's vehicle so she goes in the next morning to sign the title. They say that they will have the title to the DMV in an hour and she was at the dealership at 1030. So, my wife went to the DMV around 1:00 and the title was still not there. She called the dealership and they told her that they did not have a runner to take it to the DMV. However, they couldn't even give my wife called to tell her that it was not going to be there like they said. She had somewhere to be at 2:00 so she had to go to the DMV after that meeting. She was then finally able to register the vehicle 11 days after the transits expired. They did not do anything to rectify the situation except at the end of the transits give us a memo saying they would pay for any late fees or tickets for driving on in-transits that were expired. As if we were going to risk getting a ticket that would go on our insurance. I should have known better since a few years earlier I bought a truck from Gregg Young of Plattsmouth and I had to go to the DMV a couple of times since they did not send the title until almost all the in-transit time was up. Not to mention the truck had an obvious torque converter problem that cost me about 800 to replace. Would have been more but I did it myself. That is my experience with Gregg Young of everywhere. The first time was on them but I guess the second time is on me.
