Buyer beware. We have a contract with Greco Bath of Omaha for installation of nearly $7000 worth of Onyx material that the owner George decided that he would cancel after we paid in full. His countless delays have really hurt the homeowners more than anything. They literally dropped off the shower base in the driveway today, two months after we ordered and 20 days after he received it at his business. Now we have to go through different supplier for the walls and find a different installer. See BBB Omaha for full story.

This company was a headache to work with. The work they did was slow and sloppy. The pipes they moved started to leak and we ended up with water in our garage, and more repairs that we have to take care of now out of pocket. We have to repaint the walls that they damaged during demo, as wall as the wall in an adjacent room that they had to cut into to fix their leaky pipe. They also cracked one of our floor tiles during demolition, and one of the onyx panels has scratches on it. At the end of the project, our shower doors were not level and we asked if they could fix it. The owner told us "nothing on this planet is perfect" and that they have done the best that they can do. We hired a handyman to fix the doors (an easy fix that took him 30 minutes to do). The owner called us the "most difficult customers" he has ever worked with and said we are being too much of perfectionists. He did not take ownership of any of the mistakes and issues that arose. We wrote him a check for the remaining balance and told him he could pick it up anytime. Instead, he put a lien on our house and told us to mail it to him. He stated that he had made "numerous attempts to collect payment", when that is not true. Bottom line, go with a different company if you are in the market for Onyx showers.
