Great Plains Cafe

I give this Ma cafe 5 stars for perfecting nostalgia. It's more like it's in the middle of nowhere Nebraska. They might just not no what's beyond its borders .. the prices are extremely low for everything created in the kitchen by hand. If you make it too... where am I ???? I actually don't know where I am. But you never know I might just happen upon this place again when I'm hankering for grandmas cooking.

Oh my goodness, do yourself a favor and eat at this hidden gem of a restaurant. We were passing through Nebraska and stayed at a local RV park. The owner mentioned the place and said it was taco night. Being from Texas we have an ongoing love affair with tacos. Once again the chef made us fall in love all over again. I think it was the accompanying homemade refried beans and Mexican rice that did the trick. They didn't even flinch when I requested a fried egg to go with my delicious beef taco.

Amazing food! Great service! Anyone going through Genoa needs to check this mom and pop restaurant out! Large menu and daily specials. Chef makes sure you are satisfied with your food and expects nothing less.

Absolutely fabulous meal! Husband's breakfast was cooked to perfection, hot coffee and crispy hash browns. My meal had huge portions and was very tasty...had to take most with me! The service was phenomenal too. Lucky Genoa...this place is a gem!

Excellent! Great little Ma and Pa cafe. With friendly service. I had the patty melt. My husband had a cheeseburger. Both were great!

We were driving through Nebraska, looking for breakfast, came upon this place. Food was great. Service was excellent.
