Black History is American History; and this museum can teach us a lot. It's not a very big place, but there is so much to look at and the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.I understand that there are plans for a larger building in the future. Admission is free, donations are accepted. I highly recommend going to learn about local and national history.

This is a museum that everyone who lives in Omaha should visit at least once. It's critical that we know and understand the history of our city and why things are the way they are now. There is so much to be learned, and this is the perfect place to do so. There are many different displays that are changed out in intervals. I was fascinated by Eric's immense knowledge on Black history and how passionate he is about his work. This is a beautiful museum that I look forward to visiting again.
