Grass Roots Cafe

We stopped in here to eat while in town and fell in love. This quaint little cafe had a different selection of foods that were delicious. Dad had quiche, husband and I had sandwiches. Mine was the chicken salad and hands down the best chicken salad I ever had! The employees are sweet and helpful and the pricing wasn't too high. We w now been 3 times this week!

This small cafe in Humeston is a very good place for lunch and they are serving supper a couple of nights a week, Wednesday and Friday. Last time we were there we had the chicken pot pie. The dessert menu is outstanding and a large selection is available.

Amazing little place..... stopped in on sat for lunch..... quiche was light and fluffy, and desserts are out of this world....

Fabulous. Just try this small town bistro.Homemade,delicious, cozy and very reasonably priced .Small plates to heartier dishes.Creme brulee is the best.Salads and Desserts are not to be skipped.I still can't wait to try the soups.Highly recommended.It's worth the drive,and visit Snyder's Variety Store across the street. The cafe is open for lunch only so plan your day to include it.You won't be disappointed.

Stopped in for lunch on a chilly day. Greeted by friendly staff, great recommendations and good food. Ordered the Thai Chicken sandwich and soup of the day, broccoli and cheddar. Very clean, short wait time, and enjoyable atmosphere.

Stopped in on a road trip and I'm so glad I did! The service was great and the food was excellent! Fresh and delicious. Definitely have a slice of pie before you leave!
