Grapevine

Nice bar, cool atmosphere. What I love about this place is how dark it is. It also has sweet artwork on the wall. One of those neighborhood bars thats been around forever and will keep being awesome.Just be ready when you walk in, you can't see anything for 2 minutes while your eyes adjust

Mellow atmosphere, remarkably inexpensive drinks, free snacks, smart and interesting bartenders. What more could we ask for in a neighborhood bar? A++!

I got off work and arrived at The Grapevine early to meet someone for a drink. Sucky day, ready for a few drinks. Dark inside, but very friendly. Clearly lots of regulars. Fun and busy Friday evening. Waitress came and took my order quickly and brought me a drink. Here is where my problem started. I finished my beer quickly. No waitress. Tried to catch her eye (I have been in a bar or two in my life) to no avail. After 20 minutes of not having a drink I went to the bar, after a few minutes the bartender finally came to me (It was busy) and I ordered two beers. The bartender asked me who the second one was for. I told him they were both for me because I had been waiting a while to get one. He said "I will serve them to you one at a time." I left, broke plans with the person I was going to meet. I had just got off work, was completely sober and dressed nice. I understand having a policy, I have them too. Good day to you Grapevine.
