Grand Central-Foods

Clean store, great prices, and great quality food when shopping at our local grocery store. This is not a chain store, the owner has lived in York for many, many years. Love to shop whenever I can at Grand Central and entering their weekly $100 drawing by leaving my receipts in the box.

This store has the nicest variety for any store out there. It definitely is nice to be able to go in here at any part of the day and shop. The prices are the only downfall to this store though. They are pretty high priced for the county, but the store brand is by far better than their competitors

Nice selection of fresh food. Got to checkout and decided to try their self checkout. Their machine is not like any I have seen before and a nightmare to use. The woman that had to help me was extremely rude and didn't explain what I was doing wrong until the third time she came over. I told her that it wasn't registering the 5 for 5 meat sale and she just mumbled something and walked away.Paid full price for the meat that was supposed to be on sale. I've shopped at this store for years and I've never had bad/rude service until today.

The same frozen pie priced at over $10 sells at Walmart for 4 dollars less!. Self checking is convenient but other stores also have this

Here's what I like about grand central...when my mom comes here to buy a case or two of pasta and sauce for Blue Valley, they throw in a case of french bread and parmesean for free! good karma!!
