This is my second year, coming to the graduate, for my partner's work party. We always have a great time staying overnight, after barhopping in the Haymarket area. The location is just perfect! The staff always does well, last year we had a cocktail hour within the hotel, and the apps and drinks were amazing! This year, we just enjoyed the hotel, but it was clean and perfect for a night away, as usual. Would definitely stay here again!

I was so excited to stay at this hotel. I booked a reservation for a concert night (I live in Omaha). The concert unfortunately got postponed at a very short notice. I understand policy of cancellations may be within 2 days of reservation, but this postponement came the before. I called right away to make sure I could cancel before my card was charged. When I called I was met by a very respectful individual that said my cancellation was approved and I would get a call from the "general manager" the following Monday to talk about a possible return date and/or refund. I never received a call. My card was charged. I never did end up staying at this property and now never will!I called on the Tuesday following the general manager expected call, due to never getting a call and my card being charged (manual entry). I understand policy. I understand the hotel now dealing with high number of cancellations at once. However, I was never contacted like I said I would be. I tried to reach out twice. Never a call back. Finally I called this past Friday. I was met by the "supervisor" on the other end of the phone, who immediately upon answering was ready for a fight. I had no anger towards her. I simply asked about the refund I was told I would get. She said that I was lied to and that I would never receive a refund. This is a very unfortunate situation. The performer canceled. This was out of my control. I paid almost $300 for this room. Never stayed. The hotel didn't have to clean it. I have now contacted my card issuer and have started a dispute. This hotel was on my bucket list. The Hilton company policy and this hotel are now blacklisted on my list. Careful when booking. If something unexpected happens, know that you will not get your money back and the customer service is awful! BEWARE!

The good: location is excellent. Concept is good. Bikes to borrow are a huge bonus. Decor is awesome retro vibe. Coffee is decent. The bad: everything else. Room not very clean at all. Standing water in tub. Didn't even have time to get it remedied because they routinely don't allow check in until late. We paid a decent amount to check in and sleep for 7 hours. Doesn't hold a candle to The Graduate in Minneapolis.

Hmm...this was a unique experience. I will start with the good: the location cannot be beat. It was so great to be able to go out in the Haymarket and be able to walk home. Additionally, the lobby is beautiful. Single Barrel is located inside the hotel, and while we didn't stop in during this visit, it's a great restaurant to have within your hotel. Now the rest: first, the parking garage is nothing less than treacherous. I would use a public garage before doing that again. It was expensive, filthy, and the ramps were so small that I couldn't imagine how anything bigger than our Jeep Compass would have been able to pass through. I had to close my eyes as my boyfriend made insanely tight turns. The hallways were pretty disgusting. I totally get the old, retro vibe and knew that going into it, but I don't think stains all over the floor are part of that vibe. The room was unique, and I loved the addition of the green couch/table and the makeup table outside of the bathroom - very smart. However, the bathroom didn't seem totally clean, including a shower that appeared mildew-y. Also, communal shampoo and conditioner in a hotel is a huge N-O for me. Our king-sized bed also had what was maybe a queen-sized fitted sheet. It was barely hanging on (and later came off while sleeping), and there was no way housekeeping didn't notice that this didn't fit properly.Overall, I would not stay here again.

Feels like they are counting on the cute kitschy decor for a satisfying experience. It was cute but everything else felt unwecoming. The hotel was not ADA friendly making it difficult to get around. No in and out privileges for parking. Followed signs on the 7th floor only to find out ice is on the second floor. No guide for the TV. Towels in the bathroom seemed leftover. We will not stay here again.

The Graduate Lincoln Hotel is a landmark near the Haymarket area close to the University of Nebraska. Events, especially sponsored by the university are held here several times per year. The parking is safer in my opinion if you park on the street of other garages. Their garage is small and hard to navigate. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly. Pets are allowed to stay with guests and the fitness center is decent. The restaurant is The Single Barrel and serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and becomes an after hour bar. Large TV screens are located inside if you want to watch sporting events. Overall, the prices are decent and if you are wanting to stay for a university function, I would suggest this place over the Marriott or the Embassy Suites.

If you're going to be in Lincoln, this is a great stop! Clean comfortable rooms. I love the college decor of these hotels, down to the room keys. Someone had fun with it. Nice attached restaurant/bar.

I was in my short bus waiting to pick up guests from the Hotel to take the wedding party to the church. I went inside & asked the front desk person if it was okay if I waited out front until they came, maybe 15 mins or so She said that was no problem. 10 mins later some incredibly rude man came out & told me to "get out of his parking spot" because it's a fire lane. Mind you, I am sitting in my vehicle & there are two unoccupied vehicles parked in the same fire lane in front of the hotel. I told the "gentleman" I had asked permission from the desk attendant. To which he responded, "she doesn't know what the fuck she's talking about. It's not up to her!" I said well the party is to be down soon can I wait since there are 2 other cars here, parked, too. He said you have about 15 minutes. He came out 3 minutes later & said "move now & don't worry about the other cars you stupid bitch". I did not say a word in response. Not once was I inappropriate, rude, or inappropriate. This man has reddish hair, a beard, wears glasses, has a bit of a speech impediment, & is completely rude.

The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained, with a quirky style that is unique and refreshing. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating during my stay - I contracted food poisoning from a meal I had (not at the Graduate) and the staff was quick to provide extra blankets, Powerade, and applesauce packets to help me in my recovery. They also granted me a later check out time. I'll be coming back to this hotel on my next visit!

First, the good. The location is great. It's right down in the Haymarket neighborhood of Lincoln. Generally the employees I dealt with have been very nice. I've stayed at this location probably four or five times and overall its an ok place to stay. But I won't be back. In typical fashion today, Management is less than honest. They charged me a $15 "Property Amenity Fee" which as we've all heard is a BS fee. I wrote to the them and ask what that included, below is their EXACT reply. The property amenity fee is a built-in fee the covers the use of things like our bike rentals, gym exclusives, FREE Wi-Fi, and coffee/water in the rooms. This is charged even if you choose to not utilize the property amenities. So the "free" Wi-Fi is really 15 bucks a day. And you pay for things you may not/did not use. Room coffee? I would just add 2$ a night. Ive been in business my entire life, this stuff we call "overhead". It would seem reasonable in a marketplace if you want to charge for something you just tell the customer. This is just a backhanded way to stick it to travelers who get this bill once they have left town.
