I feel like this is a relatively unknown location therefor less picked through. I tend to filter through thrift stores and always find something good here. The bathroom smelled clean.

I'm usually pretty indifferent towards Goodwills, but this one, for some odd reason, is probably my favorite Goodwill in the Omaha area. Why? I'm not sure, as you'll find your typical selection of clothes and junk here, maybe you can expect a few more name brands and "mall" clothes to appear on the racks than at other locations. But there's something else about this location that just gives me a sense of comfort -- it just "feels" good to me.Maybe I like it because the only time a stop here is when I'm out and about running errands or going to meetings in northwest Omaha. And a stop in here means a quiet treasure hunting excursion from the ennui that being a working adult so often brings. For whatever reason, I've had the best luck here finding t-shirts over button ups or pants or anything else.Plus Yon put up a pic on this listing of a Bart Simpson butt clock that (I think) is calling me out. She put up that pic nearly a year ago and I just came across it. Made my day!

Thank goodness for Goodwill. All kinds of stuff for whatever you need. Plus a good place to drop off what you don't need and get a tax credit for it. Don't forget to get a receipt.

The building that houses this Goodwill is pretty fancy -- lots of glass windows. In terms of size, this Goodwill is moderate with mostly racks of clothes. Selection for toys, books, CDs/DVDs are more limited than other Goodwills that I have frequented. My friend was happy with their selection of worn Husker gear as she got a vintage shirt of Herbie Husker.

This is only for the drop off / donation area. I donated a bunch of items that are good quality but I just can't keep as I am moving. It was basically an entire car full of stuff that is totally re-sellable. The man who "assisted" me just wheeled the cart up, barely said hello, and did not assist me at all in unloading. There seemed to be plenty of men inside who might be willing to help but he did not ask for help. I unloaded everything myself as he sat and stared, in the heat. When I was done he grunted dramatically as he pushed the cart inside. I asked for a receipt and he blankly stared at me and said "did you see all the stuff you just brought in?" And I replied "yeah..." and he said he wasn't keeping track of everything... so I asked for a generic receipt and the whole process was just very uncomfortable. As someone who enjoys giving back to the community, thrifting, recycling, etc, I was very disappointed that an employee of Goodwill would treat me as if I was just dumping trash, rather than providing goods for the company to sell which would in turn would put money into his own wallet. I'm not sure if there are any other donation locations that actually help you unload stuff, or somewhere with staff that are more friendly and polite, but I would recommend going elsewhere if you are going to donate anything. I will not be donating here again.

I think I'll just drive down to the Salvation Army store next time I have things to donate. I don't expect much other than to be treated in a friendly, not snarky, way and getting a "thank you" that's not mumbled as the woman who "helped" me walks back into the building. I donated quite a few nice things. Not again.

What has happened the store in the last month is just plain gross. Clothes are all over the place and not where they belong... you get the stuff from the warehouse that none of the other Goodwills want so it is ripped or has food etc all over it... only a few workers speak english?!?!?!?
