Pretty typical Goodwill. Was hoping to fancy some fancy West Omaha stuff here but found your typical mishmash of used goods. They kept running some weird 50% off sales over the loud speakers. Almost got me to buy used headboard panels for like $10. Reason took over and I left. Def would stop by again if in the area.

This goodwill is located in the Millard area. They are priced higher than most other locations by $2 on average an item. The store is overall clean and they consistently get new items out daily. What I like about this locations is sometimes while your shopping they will call out a sale...like 50% off shoes or furniture, for a set amount of time. Checkout is relatively quick, most times they only have one cashier.

I used to go to goodwill for years and all of a sudden (in the past year or two) I have noticed how high in price items are trying to be sold for. It is absolutely outrageous. I've seen some used T-shirt's here for full blown retail price. I'm sure in some cases, you could go to H&M and get clothing for cheaper. They are trying to turn used good into retail goods. I hope people stop buying and donating to them so they realize that they aren't Target. I've stopped donating to them and instead have donated to Salvation Army and big brothers and sisters of the heartland. There are so many more places that are actually charities and actually help out others. Goodwill does none of that...

This is one fancy pants thrifts store! I had heard this location referred to as the "Gucci Goodwill" and had always wanted to check it out, but I'm a mid-towner and I just couldn't fathom driving all the way out to 180th for a thrift store. I finally sucked it up and made the trip out there last week and I'm so glad I did. The facility itself is pretty impressive for a thrift store. The inside looks like an Old Navy minus all the fleece.Clothing was a tad pricey, but overall the quality was much better than most thrift stores. (Shirts averaged 3.49-5.49).The only let down for me was the bric-a-brac section. The items in this section were too shiny and new to be considered kitsch.Overall though I would say it is worth the drive out there. (If any mid-towners are thinking of making a trip out to the Gucci Goddwill, let me know so we can car pool. I'm thinking we can split the cost of gas and maybe sleep in shifts. I'll pack the snacks and road games.)

Every once in a while I feel the need to go shopping at goodwill. Not just one, but many of them and this was one on one of my trips. This goodwill has so much stuff, for me it kind of feels overwhelming, but if you're going for quantity of stuff, this is the place. Lots and lots of furniture, clothes, pretty much everything you can think of. They have a lot of selection of really nice clothing to choose from, so if you want to find something nice or trendy to wear for cheap, you should go here.

I guess I need to write a bumper sticker and give it out because if no one reads these reviews they need to know what a scam the goodwill is. First of all all they have to do to be called a charitable organization is to give 10% of their money to a charity. Everybody knows they have big CEOs and all that stuff but I want to tell about what happened in my actual experience. I was here in Omaha staying with my daughter without a car and so I rode her bike to the Goodwill. I put it on the bike rack and while I was in the store one of the clerks sold it. That was about four days ago and still they have not made good except to offer me another bike ( my daughters bike was fairly new and in good shape and all they had was beat up children's bikes there what are they expect me to do run around to the Goodwill's all over the state without any wheels now, on foot?) They claim to help the community and yet the scam one of their customers? Take my advice use a real charity like the Salvation Army, Habitat for humanity resale store, or any of the other dozens of places that are really in it for the people... Instead of lining some fat cat's wallets....While they sit back and laugh at what suckers people are to hand over their hard work good to someone who doesn't appreciate anyone but just has special needs poster children up there for show in Order to scam the General public. What low life!

I cannot believe how expensive this store is! Everything which was donated is priced as NEW. Fail. Find a new thrift store.

The quality is good and there is a good selection for men and women but not much for kids. There was one lady that was well I cannot use the word for her but she was so rude.

My mom was visiting me from out of town and borrowed my bike while I was at work. Today, she rode it to the Goodwill and parked it on the the bike rack out front and draped the excess cord from other bikes that were locked up over her bike to make it look like it was locked to anyone casually walking by. While my mom was in the store shopping, they sold my bike. When my mom noticed through the window that the bike was gone, she told the cashier who said that she's sold it because it was locked up. My mom told her it wasn't locked up and the cord was draped over it to look like it was locked and the lady again insisted it was locked up. That's when another woman that worked there confirmed that my mom did ride a bike to the store because my mom had a conversation with her earlier about it about how she wouldn't be able to carry too many bags home because she was in a bike. My mom said the other worker that sold the bike still wouldn't acknowledge that she sold it until my mom threatened to call the cops. At that point they called the manager. However, we're still waiting to be called back by the district manager, who we're told will need to view the security camera first. So not only did they sell my bike, initially refused to acknowledge my mom about it (even though the bike had a piece to my daughter's trailer on the rear spoke and a pouch on the front that had my iPod Nano inside and not to mention, clearly didn't have a price tag on it), but they also made a 58 year old woman walk a mile to get back to my house in an area they're not familiar with. This issue should have been resolved in the spot, yet it's 8 to 9 hours later and nothing has happened. At the very least, they should have paid for a taxi to take my mom home and apologized to her. I had to bring her back after I got off work to pick up her bags that she had to leave there this afternoon since she had to walk so far. I'll update this post when/if this issue gets resolved.

Once again Goodwill is a big ripoff... pricing clothes that are not stained or ripped at high prices.. If you are lucky you can find a target shirt for a little over $3.. wow what a deal.... Quit screwing the consumer.. these items were donated.. Corporate is getting fat!!!!
