Awesome service!Great food, piping hot!Great prices!I had the roast beef mushroom cheesy sandwich on sourdough. Everything here is made from scratch, including the bread. This sandwich is a masterpiece. It's like a cheesy hot beef. Lots of meat and hearty.What I really came for was the homemade chicken dumpling soup. My friend, a Wahoo native, said it's a must try. The recipe was passed down from previous owners. It was hearty and yummy with a unique spice. I couldn't put my finger on it but almost like a seafood seasoning. My friend had me bring her a huge jar to-go!I also couldn't say no to the cinnamon roll. I'm picky about my cinnamon rolls so this wasn't the best I've ever had but I did enjoy it. Not moist all the way through and a little burnt on the bottom but it was clearly homemade.I love small town cafes. They are usually super cute, featuring locally made items, etc. and Good Friends is no exception. I would have liked to have seen more storage because I felt like there was stuff kind of everywhere that needed to be put away. Could maybe use some cosmetic, painting updates around the salad bar/counter. But none of this impacted the food or service so I highly recommend stopping in!!

Sadly they have lost my business. It took 20 minutes through the drive thru, for two lattes. I was told I had to pull forward and park in a parking spot to wait a little bit longer. When the employee came out to give me my drinks I asked her why it took 20 minutes for my order. She got really sarcastic and snapped at me. "Oh, probably because there are all these OTHER people in line and a huge party inside. And we have ONE machine." She then turned her back on me and walked away without any sort of apology. I told her to have a great day as she walked away, but she didn't acknowledge me. I won't be back after this experience.

BLT wrap was perfect, but their dill infused chicken salad sandwich on marbled rye was the best I've ever had! Will stop there again!

Home cooked breakfast brings me in almost every Friday. Great food & service & with plenty of seating. There's a nice sitting area upstairs also.

I've been to Good Friends several times and have a pretty good feel for this place. I have no doubt that this is the best place for lunch in all of Wahoo and it's surrounding communities.It's located across from the Saunders County courthouse and near the almighty Wahoo Meat Locker. The cafe has a casual coffee shop feel with a well sized menu with options such as sandwiches, wraps, and soups. The service is always quick and friendly with prices that would be very competitive in Omaha and Lincoln.I absolutely love their sandwiches but I've heard their soups are legendary. I'm just not much of a soup guy! My wife tends to go for their wraps. They always have tasty food with quality ingredients.Overall I know anyone would love Good Friends but Wahoo is a tough town for a restaurant that doesn't give you 2,000 calories for $5. Quantity tends to beat quality in small towns.

Whenever I am in town over the noon hour I try to stop in for lunch. they have great staff who will remember you even if you have not been there for a few weeks. The food is great always home made and hits the spot just right.

From pictures that I've seen the place has been updated. The food was never very good when I've gone and it just seemed like it needed a good cleaning but that may have changed - it's now under new ownership. It's popular with the morning coffee drinkers.

Stopped in yesterday and enjoyed the Hit Beef Sandwich special. Was very tasty and staff very friendly.

Not following basic covid. The lady how helped me, was polite, knowledgeable, and excellent. However she did not have a mask or gloves.
