Gibbs Chophouse

The food and the service were exceptional. I had an amazing NY strip steak, which came with 2 sides and garlic toast for a modest $28. Very highly recommended! So surprising to find such a great restaurant in such a small town! I found it by asking a police officer in a nearby town (which is much larger) and they sent me here. Police officers know the best places to eat!

We dined at Gibbs Chophouse on a Friday evening. The service and atmosphere were very good. They had specials but we ordered off the menu. My spouse had a New York Strip that was perfectly cooked to medium rare. We both had asparagus and it too was cooked perfectly. I chose the butterfly pork chop with a bourbon glaze. It came on puréed sweet potato. I am not a fan of sweet potato but this paired with the chop deliciously! The presentation was very nice and the chef came to see how we liked everything. The salad had a very nice presentation also. We had strawberry shortcake (shared one) for dessert. We were very satisfied with the portion size and it too was delicious! It was served with plenty of strawberries. We also had a drink and the bill was under $65. We'll do this again!

The Gibbs Chop House is a nice new addition to Stanton. The decor is very inviting and includes a nice outdoor patio area. Service was excellent! Our server Shay was very sweet and helpful. The chicken tenders, ribeye steak sandwich and the chocolate sheet cake a La mode were delicious!
