Just a friendly reminder to all those contemplating doing business with this outfit - either locally or in cyberspace -- DON'T!!!!!!! They continue doing business under pseudonyms on the internet in order to hide, but they're out there. Almost two years ago I paid them $500 for online purchase that was lost in the mail. Since they shipped the item (signature required) they claim they met their responsibility but I never received the item, never signed for it and when I attempted to get a refund I was stonewalled. They refused to provide me with the shipping receipt so I could at least file an insurance claim with the USPS, and I suspect they filed the claim and kept that money as well. Numerous attempts to resolve the issue personally or through third party consumer advocates met with negative results. These people are the sleaziest group of miscreants I've ever dealt with and anyone wanting to buy anything from them should rethink that decision. Be warned!

Run far far away from this poor excuse of a business. These people are the most classless individuals with zero integrity I have ever dealt with. Read the other reviews and you will start to see a pattern. I ordered thousands of dollars of optics to be told they were lost in the mail. To this day no help from the Gerbig family. They also operate under the name Ingus on Gunbroker. Buyer beware!

I had several questions for Lacey prior to the order and she responded promptly and as late as 10:00 pm EST. I do not think you could ask for more from a supplier. I highly recommend Gerbig. If zero stars were possible this shady outfit would qualify. Probably one of the worst customer service experiences in my life (dishonest, liars, fraudulent). Now, over eight (8) months ago I bought and paid for an item that never arrived ("lost in the mail") and to date they've refuses to refund my payment or otherwise make it right. If the item was insured, they've collected both the insurance and kept my $500, which amounts to mail fraud. It's progressed to the point were they've ignored attempts to mediate by the Better Business Bureau, Business Consumer Alliance, and the Nebraska Attorney General's Office. They've also stopped responding to calls, emails and letters. The bottom line - eight months later - I'm still out $500, and they are doing nothing to make it right. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS. They have stolen my money and will not hesitate to steal yours, if given the opportunity.

This review comes in conjunction with a recent transaction on GunBroker (GB, for short). I'll begin by expressing my sincere displeasure with the nature of my transaction. Here goes: I made a purchase on 07/05 and attempted to contact seller (directly) to provide payment detail(s); their payment protocol involves calling, texting, or emailing your payment information (along with photo ID). My issue(s): I placed the order on 07/05 (at 11AM, to be exact); however, this falling on a Sunday, I automatically figured business operations would resume the following day (07/06); no big deal. On 07/06, I called numerous time(s). Gerbig's mustered up enough interest to return my call (later in the afternoon); unfortunately, I was unavailable at the time. I attempted to contact then again, the following day; however, I received more of the same; no answered call(s). I then decided the juice was not worth the squeeze for this particular GB transaction, and decided to purchase the item elsewhere, which is what I did. Surprisingly and finally Gerbig's decided to respond to a previous email, by which time I had already placed an order elsewhere. I found it a bit strange they were unable to facilitate my request to cancel the transaction and they further suggested I should contact GB to take up the topic of transaction cancellation with them (GB)... Needless to say, I found that a bit strange; especially considering, I've had to cancel transaction(s) in the past (not for the same reason, however) - without any issue(s) or friction from seller(s). Against my better judgement, and in attempts to provide the seller(s) an opportunity for redemption, I decided to go ahead and provide my payment details to Gerbig's (you live and you learn...), for which I still have not received a requested confirmation of receipt of payment details. Beyond highly skeptical by this point, I decided to call Gerbig's Militaria (Nancy) numerous times, in attempts to secure the confirmation I KINDLY requested (at least a couple times) via email. NO RESPONSE!!, as normal, from Gerbig's... I also placed numerous phone call(s) - at least 16x (I get how that might appear a bit strange, but this is a confirmation of provided personal ID & payment details we're talking about here...) End result... I am still waiting (after having provided my CC info to a seller(s) who won't respond), and many of the reviews on GB for Gerbig's Militaria emphasize just how non-responsive they are; wish I would have known this beforehand. Bottom line, and I'm a pretty fair person who understands potential challenges presented in supplying customer(s), but I'm also certain business is not supposed to operate, as such. Don't be like me... do your homework... check for more reliable vendors... "Gerbig's Militaria" IS NOT who you want to do business with; especially if you value relatively-quick, reliable, dependable, responsive, and trustworthy customer service.Hope this prevents someone else from making the same mistake.Sincerely,
