Genesis Health Clubs - Sprague

One of the best gyms I have ever had the opportunity to visit. Travis helped sign me up. Instantly I felt very welcome the moment I walked in and spoke to layla which I genuinely hope I didn't butcher the spelling but seriously if you're looking for a gym that's motivating, clean and top of the tier look no more! Everything is perfect from the ambiance to the machines, staff hell I love this place more than I love my In laws and I really love my in laws more than anything except this killer ass gym! But by far jokes aside staff is straight up awesome!!! P.s even the members of the club are awesome! friendly and down to earth not a single unpleasant person. So just sign up shoot the gun, get the day pass. This gym will not disappoint one bit!

Over priced, not worth the money that you pay. Usually pretty busy and they have a pretty big parking lot too. Sleazy salesman who just want your money. They can change the offer and negotiate so make sure to not take the first one they give you.

Filled out application for a 3 day pass online. Worked out at this location all 3 days. Staff and members are super friendly and did not feel unwelcome once. Plenty of weights, cardio equipment, and other amenities. Really enjoy the dry sauna. Was disappointed they didn't have a wet sauna (steam room). Indoor pool with 2 lanes. Half a basketball court with one hoop. Did not do any workout classes but they looked full and engaging. 3 stars given because the club does have some defects. Quite a bit equipment was out of order. Most if not all cardio, weight machines, and free weights were very dated with a lot of torn seats, dents, scratches, etc. Main level had massive water stains (more than one) on the floor that appear to have been there for some time. Overall, club was fine to workout at. Plenty of options amenities and options. Would not be my first choice if had other locations close by.

This is my neighborhood gym. It has a very different layout than the westroads location. All of the cardio is on the second floor and weights below. There's only about 15 ft of mirror for 2000sqft which is not a lot and it's crowded whether it's busy or not. Peak time are 430-7 on weeknights I love basketball and it's unfortunate there's only a 1/2 court and they use it for classes...not ideal. Staff is very friendlyI love the daycare workers in the evening. It is crazy busy in the morning and with a new baby I don't quite trust it. But the evening girls are awesome.

This problem has not been resolved...I.havent been contacted as promised from the reply on the original complaint. I have made endless phone calls to try and resolve this issue...and it's months later and I still have not been contacted!!!

The gym is an awesome for location and smaller. However the heating/cooling system needs to be addressed. It is miserably hot in the summer and freezing cold in the winter. The bathrooms could be cleaned more often and have working paper towel dispensers.

I have had a horrible experience with this gym. My fiancé and I signed up for the 7day free trial and upon going to the gym we were given a tour and then had a meeting with Travis. I had explained to Travis that we were gifted a year membership at a gym from my parents. I really didn't want to sign any contract that day until I had discussed the pricing with the ones who were paying for it....He kept pushing and pushing and told me he would get us signed up but give us a three day grace period to cancel our membership if needed and give us a refund. We both were extremely uncomfortable as it felt like he would not drop it until we signed up. So after much back and forth we decided to just sign up (to cancel the following day) and my card was drafted $70. The next day I went in to cancel. I signed the forms and was told to expect a refund in 30 days. I had continued to get texts and calls from the gym as if my membership was active, I got a call from Travis asking if he could meet with my parents??, and no refund. It's been well over 30 days (this was all on January 3rd). I called a few days ago and they are now telling me my refund should be coming through within the next 60 days???? I have never ever heard of a refund taking 90 days. My fiance and I are extremely disappointed because we just wanted a 7day free trial and were pressured into signing right away. We are expecting a baby in a few months, so $70 dollars to us is kinda a big deal. This place feels very scammy, very pushy and aggressive. I am extremely unhappy with my experience here. So be warned if you go in for a free trial, you will get pressured into signing up right away and feel extremely uncomfortable. I have done some further research and found that Genesis is known for their shady sales tactics to get people to join so just be aware!!! Since then we have signed up at the Y and couldn't recommend it more. The equipment is brand new, the pool is huge, and they have a large basketball court. They also have a steam room and a sauna. And the monthly membership fees are extremely low!!

I finally gave up my membership here because of the hours. I don't work a traditional M-F 8-5 schedule, and the hours at the club do not work for me. They are effectively closed Friday Saturday and Sunday for me. There is always broken equipment, and the meat heads tie up the equipment before about 7 pm.

In town for an event and had a very welcoming encounter with everyone on staff on 11/4/23.... Was assisted by Eddie in sales who was very welcoming and knowledgeable of his facility. Would definitely recommend anyone to come here seeing I'm used to the likes of powerhouse fitness and LA Fitness. This would be a great follow up of the sort

Dirty, dirty, dirty. The treadmills are absolutely disgusting. What a waste. I've never been to this specific genesis club before, even though the quality is higher than other clubs, I am not sure they have ever cleaned a treadmill.
