This location has turned into an absolute disaster since genesis took over. It wouldn't pass a health inspection if done today between the black mold and flies in the bathroom, the human fecal matter in the 3rd floor urinal that's been there for a couple weeks now or the various moist stains on the floor in the locker room. Additionally they'll go weeks at a time with no hot water, 4 times over the last month they didn't have towels available and last week the power was out! Oh did i mention the heat and A/C just stop working at the most critical times?? Couple this with only ONE working drinking fountain in the building and hosts of equipment that has been busted for months not to mention outdated. I can't believe they even let people tour this place. It's in a SHOCKING state. This goes beyond local management and should be addressed by corporate immediately. Oh by the way the new location they added artists renderings of here, hasn't been touched in months. It's just dark and empty everyday with NO work being done. DO NOT let them fool you into thinking it will be open soon. It's a lie.

The equipment is either out of service or poorly maintained. Pulleys on working machines are sticky and need replaced. Any given week 3 or more items out of service and take weeks to be repaired. So much potential at this location but they just save $ by not doing basic maintenance. Makes me wonder about safety of the equipment that is still in service.

I've been a member at this gym for years and i always enjoyed working out there but recently the gym quality has dropped down dramatically the floor is all messed up, most of the lights in the men's locker room are dimmed, the steam room is always dirty and the paint on the walls are pealing off.

A membership here is included if you live at Midtown Crossing. I visited to sign up during a mask mandate and had to ask the Sean to put on a mask, and it was obvious this bothered him. For some bizarre reason he made it clear to me soon after that he was a military veteran. I returned about a week later at 5am for my first workout and the door was locked and there was nobody at the front desk to let me in. I returned a third (fourth of you count the tour given my the Midtown Crossing sales team) time later in the day and was told there was no record of me ever applying. I was not in the system.I followed up with an email to the corporate office and months later have recieved no reply. At this point I want nothing to do with this club but it appears they continue billing you after you leave Midtown Crossing so I'll have to make sure I am truly not in their system.

The managers are very deceptive. They make it extremely difficult to get out of your membership. This location specifically made promises that the new Genesis location would be open within six months of signing up and it turns out there's still over a 2 year wait before a new facility and new equipment. Until then, you'll have to deal with an overcrowded, outdated, and overpriced excuse for a gym.

Adding my Google review here for reach: If you like your gyms full of people who sit on the equipment with ear buds, watching their phones not working out then have I got a place for you!!!EDIT - enforce the rules. Stop people from having long, drawn out phone conversations in the gym. That rule didn't just fart itself into existence. Your CGL provider no doubt doesn't want people distracted while doing an inherently dangerous activity. The ONLY time I see the people who work there on the gym floor is when 1) giving a tour or 2) picking up towels. It is exhausting having to rack 295 pounds so I can ask the guy two machines down to please take his phone call out into the hall so I can concentrate on my lift (this actually happened a few weeks ago). He had the audacity to get mad at me for asking him to make his plans to meet his buddy at The Green Room more quietly so I could squat in relative peace.EDIT2 - Just spent thirty minutes at your gym NOT to work out. There are two bench press stations there. And, both were occupied by super setters. They would do a set and then disappear to work other muscles. Five to six minutes between each set on the bench. Headphones on so you cannot ask them to work in. Your gym isn't big enough for super sets. At least help us out by putting a sign up to the effect, "If you plan on super setting you MUST allow people to use the bench." Don't be better, just be what you promised.EDIT3 - For the third time in as many weeks I was backloaded with 200+ pounds. When someone decided they needed a weight that was racked on my particular rack. I was mid-lift when that person invaded my peripheral vision / line of site and interrupted my lift. After abandoning the squat I went to the deadlift station. On my third set some entitled Creighton-ite decided she needed to speak with me about a pin at the deadlift station. As she was deeply engrossed in whatever was on in her headphones she VERY LOUDLY asked if she could borrow a pin mid-lift. I dropped the weight and equally as loudly asked her not to approach me mid-lift as it wasn't good gym etiquette. To which she informed me that all I had to do was nod my head.... WHILE I WAS MID-LIFT!!! Of course, she wound up telling me that I was the a**hole. AMAZING entitlement.Genesis get ahold of your gym. Enforce the rules you have in place. Make sure the Creighton-ites know proper gym etiquette. #notworhtitatanyprice

Gone really downhill since it opened as Prairie Life years ago. None of the equipment has been replaced, holes in the walls, patchy paint jobs everywhere, lights out, dirty machines, dirty showers. Everything needs to be torn out, and start over. Used to be a nice gym but it's noticeably changed for the worse, in a relatively short period of time.
