Gate 25 Bar and Restaurant

We stopped here for lunch around 11:30 on a Tuesday morning. I had the open faced salmon sandwich with tater tots and my wife had the Cuban sandwich with a side salad. The food was great for the most part (the tater tots were too crunchy, how does that even happen??) Here's why we won't be back:1. Probably some of the slowest service we've ever had (and they were NOT busy at all).2. As another reviewer mentioned...flys, this can be easily remedied, why hasn't it?3. Waitress was 'ok' at best.If you have the time, food is very decent, if you're on a tight schedule, pick another restaurant.

Came here for private event which I didn't know they had, we had chicken wings, pretzel bites, pizza, and meatballs, for appetizer, bar tender was friendly. The event space was perfect for our Christmas party, the area is great location. High my recommend coming here for small group gatherings, since they open late!

Very rude staff, we had to flag down the bartender every time we needed anything. They were too busy flirting with young male customers or leaning on the ledge talking to coworkers. Food was excellent but took a very long time. And again, the service was terrible.

I always forget about Gate 25 because I typically go to places I went in college. Today we had pickle fries (thinly sliced and really flavorful) with sriracha mayo. HUGE ORDER. We split a wedge salad. It was big and non traditional but had tons of blue cheese crumbles and heirloom tomatoes. The poke nachos!!! Seared ahi tuna, wontons, spinach sauce and jalapeños. Perfect amount of heat. Our service was outstanding (thank you Jordan!)

Food was decent however the flyers would not go away no windows were open or doers and we had at least 5 flys around us all time was annoying. The Buffalo chips and cheese were good that's what keeps the rating up.

Service gets 5's as the bartender was efficient and super nice.My shrimp po boy was a joke. Big old bun with three tiny shrimp on one side and two on the other 1/2. No sauce on it so it was a dry bun with an insufficient amount of shrimp. Food was forgettable.

Came here for the Onsie bar crawl. Could not for the life of us get any service at the bar. Stood up & waved arms & bartenders just ignored us. So disappointing...we won't come back.

My wife and I were looking for something new to try for our first time in Lincoln with our son and came across Gate 25 after looking over a few menus in the area. We were impressed with their wide variety, but couldn't find any kids menu listed so we called to confirm they had a few options, which they do - grilled cheese and chicken strips.As for the restaurant itself, it's fairly small. I'd say about 15 -20 tables at most that I could see, and a bar in the middle. It wasn't busy for lunch so we had no issues getting a table. Service was great throughout our meal, but what really made the experience shine was the food. My wife and I both got their Lamb Burger, which is rare for her to want to try, but it came so highly recommended that she went for it. WOW. We both agreed - honestly the best lamb burger we have ever had! Such rich flavor, spice, and juiciness it just melted in your mouth with every bite. I'm not sure if it's their seasoning blend or their peppercorn sauce but the flavor was absolutely delicious. I would seriously drive an hour back to Lincoln just for the burger it was that good. Hopefully everyone gets a chance to try this place at least once if not for a drink on game day, at least for one delicious lamb burger.

Had a work event here with a private room. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they had a full bar with a great selection and we got loaded up with just about all their appetizers and everything was so tasty I really gorged myself. Some of my favorites were the pulled pork nachos, guacamole, flatbread pizza, meatballs. They had a large jenga which was lots of fun to play. This is a really great location and I surely would come back and you should stop in too. I think I'll need to try a sit down dinner next time.

We tried this place for lunch great atmosphere. I don't have time to leave many reviews but I would love to meet someone who left a 3 star or lower and simply shake my head. We eat out a ton as we travel all the time for business and my spouse is a foodie.She had a tuna salad ( subbed the salmon for tuna) she said it's the best she's had in her life and my Reuben is right up there, love how they crisp the edges. The staff smiles and have great energy. Amazing place, don't let any of the absurd negative reviews steer you away, it's ten out of ten!
