I took a pair of tall Coach dress boots in to have the shaft narrowed to be a better fit for my leg. They did a beautiful job. You cannot even tell that they have been altered. I highly recommend this business and their fine craftsmanship.(I had asked another local repair business if they could make these changes to my boots and they said it wasn't possible)

I'm so glad i finally stopped in here! I had to take my poorly designed redwing workboots that i wear EVERY SINGLE DAY out of commission when the straps (instead of eyelets) started breaking. Brought them to Northside Boot and Shoe to see if they could replace the straps with eyelets. They did, at an absolutely reasonable price, and in exactly one week (as promised). Couldn't be happier to have my newly improved boots back on my feet!!

Old world excellence! These guys are the real deal. They are new owners and very good and know what they're doing. Friendly, fast and efficient. Real leather workers/shoe repair people are hard to find in Lincoln. Thank God for these guys.

I had a pair of relatively new boots with a broken heel. The first repair place I took them to wrote them off as unfixable. But then I took them to Northside Boot and Shoe Repair with a slim chance that they would be able to be fixed. AND THEY CAN BE! The man working there is nice, friendly, smart, and knowledgeable. Cute little store with all sorts of goodies in it.

Shoes that fit good, and are comfortable are hard to find. And the shoes I'd bought were a color less than desired. Fox Shoe Repair, was the ONLY shoe service that would dye them. Not only did the owner do this service, but they turned out beautiful! I love the new color. And they were also ready before the time specified. The owner is super friendly, and does excellent work! Excellent customer service. My father needed a custom flip-phone holder he can wear around his neck so he does not lose it. He recently had a heart attack and open-heart surgery and wants to make sure his small flip phone is right where he can reach it at all times. The owner knew exactly what we needed after trying to describe the specific needs. Within one hour, the owner made my father a custom leather holder that fits my father's phone exactly and does not fall out and he can easily slip over his head to wear around his neck. He adjusted the length to make sure it does not hit my dad's zipper incision. He charged us a beyond reasonable price for a custom item (we were prepared to pay much more). Like other reviewers, Fox's is old world customer service and craftsmanship we rarely see anymore. Please stop in and see their other items, and support our family owned small business in NE.
