* Don't trust them when they tell you an amount for cpap or supplies. They lie even though they told me I would not have to pay over $250. They looked my insurance up and said yep under $250 for sure. Then my account was overdrawn by $1200. They have horrible customer service. Very rude and unprofessional.

I have used Focus for a number of years and like any company, you will have absolutely wonderful employees and the occasional negative person. Focus has helped me on numerous occasions to meet my oxygen and travel needs, even as my needs increased greatly with the worsening disease. They even helped me get set up in STL as I prepared for a transplant. I am now back on oxygen and they are just as wonder as before. So polite, fun, and full of information. They actually listen to me about my concerns and address them. sherri s.

My cpap machine quite working and I got on the phone and called and waited a long time to get answered! Then they told me to use the machine anyway, And I told her it got too hot to plug into the wall and she said she would call me back. Well that was three days later and had no new news on getting a new cpap. This went on for long over a week, but she was not concerned .So we had to with draw $1.300 from our bank and order a new machine. A couple day later she called and I told her I ordered a new one.Then she got mad and told me she would have to call and cancel the one on order. My week and one have had been sleeping in my chair up right. I received my cpap on 1-16-2022. Surprise The old bag call today 2-25-2023and i told her to cancel my account after over ten years of supplies . But they don't give a dam they still get paid. my mask broke the night before calling them.I askwd could i get a replacement they said they could ship me one.I said but this one is broke it doesn't worl at all hose has a hole.Was told they would call me back.i didn't expect that to happen.hour and half later they called said come out to 108th and i street get your new mask.Really appreciated their prompt work getting me taken care of. Dealing with this company has been a nightmare from the beginning- 1. They missed my referral and approval for 4 months to start me as a new customer. 2. Has been charging me inappropriately for 6 months on autopay while not handling the prior-authorization process at all. 3. Never communicates regarding insurance requirements or billing- just demands charges. 4. Had Medical Procedure that prevented me from using machine so they charged me additional funds because the app said I wasn't using- I was told that I had to pay and then deal with insurance on my own. 5. Customer service is horrendous- takes days to return calls, if they even call back. Why do they not have enough staff to answer the phones? Finding people to help with anything at this company is a nightmare. 6. Minimal staff, untrained staff and a phone system that is a nightmare to try to navigate. Stay away from this company- I wish I had never dealt with them.

I don't know who manages the Customer Service dept, but I called back a 785 # after I was left a message gave about prepping paperwork for a home sleep study that was ordered by my doctor that I never gave approval for and I was trying to explain that I wanted it cancelled so they weren't wasting their time. Then the lady on the phoned proceeded to do nothing but talk over me and talk to me like I was an idiot. I had to hang up on her because she wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise and was just plain rude. Try listening to someone's concerns and not lecturing. The people calling you aren't children.

This group is unprofessional and annoying in so many ways, not to mentioned expensive as heck.The most recent episode came when I ordered supplies. Focus Respiratory told me they would call me when the supplies arrived. Rather than call, the supplies were mailed.Once mailed, one cannot return items, or so the company says, because once opened the supplies are no longer sterile. No wonder they mail supplies. It takes away the customer options of exchange or return and guarantees a sale for them.Communication and follow up are horrible and often nonexistent. You may or may not get a return phone call. And forget about getting somebody on the line on your first attempt.I once called the Branch Manager to complain. He said he was aware of all of the problems with apathetic, rude, and unprofessional employees, but his hands were tied on doing anything about it. Corporate would not permit him to terminate them.It's shocking that a company with such incompetence and poor customer service can survive. I suspect their competition is limited, and their profit margins so high, that somehow they survive.I'll be looking for a new supplier even though it will mean a much longer drive for in person transactions.
