Fizzy’s Fountain & Liquors

This is such a fun place to visit for weekend brunch or a fun weeknight outing. I love the 1960s diner aesthetic, and booths and bar area are really cute. Ordering over the phone is such a fun touch, and makes for a memorable experience.Their food is top notch. I love their burgers and fries, the staple of diner cuisine. Their secret sauce reminds me of a California franchise, and it is so nice to get a taste of that (admittedly done much better) here in Omaha. I also love the shoestring fries. The portion size is generous, and the fries are nice and crispy. The food is great at dinner, but it absolutely shines at brunch! There is nothing like a nice greasy burger to help with a hangover!The restaurant also hosts all sorts of fun themed days, with corresponding creative food items and drinks. I've gone to their Its Always Sunny in Philidelphia dinner and Mean Girls brunch, and they were both a blast. The staff is always super friendly, and the service is great. You have to stop here if you're near downtown Omaha!

My husband and I got together with a couple of our friends for a Saturday evening out and we started at Fizzy's for dinner and drinks. Fizzy's does not take reservations for groups smaller than 6, so we weren't sure if we would be able to snag a table, but we got super lucky and got the last one that was available when we arrived. There were tables opening throughout the time we were there, though, so I don't think it would have been a long wait.The retro vibes here are very cool! The menu is small, but with plenty of offerings both in food and drinks. And you order through the phone at your table - very unique! My friend and I shared an order of the nachos without any additions and I absolutely loved it! It could have used a little more salt overall, but that is truly my only critique. The nachos were piled high with toppings and it was a fairly filling meal for us. I did also order a side of Brussels sprouts and those were also delicious, though maybe a bit too salty (I guess they balanced out the nachos!). For my drink I went with the Fog Cutter and truly had no notes. It was great.The service was fine, but nothing exceptional. My order of Brussels got missed and we had to ask for them to find out the order had never gone to the kitchen. Additionally, when we got the check we noticed they only brought one of the checks for our table.A fun place overall and will definitely come back!

i loooove Fizzy's. The food is like the ultimate hangover food. Greasy in the BEST way. The drinks have always been pretty good too, i've had a couple that i didn't LOVE, but the food makes up for it!The vibe in there is so cute too, like adorable diner vibes and i love that you use the phones to order, so cute!

Fizzy's is a go to spot for me for bar food. Everything I've had has been super heavy and will probably send you into a food coma, but it's really good. I got the French dip and it was really good. I also got the pink squirrel milkshake, it was great but really strong. I love the whole vibe and ordering on the pay phone is so cute. Service is always great the people who work there are so nice. I've never had a bad experience.

Fizzy's is one of my first recommendations for people coming from out of town. Their boozy milkshakes are amazing (I've tried at least 4 or 5 and am working through the full list!) and are perfect with fries for a late night out. Their food is also great - special shoutout to their burger with an egg and onions on it.Beyond the amazing food, the vibes/aesthetic at Fizzy's is the best! The retro cozy style is executed perfectly - even down to ordering on the phone from your booth. It's also 21+ so there's just adults out and about. It can take a while to get in and to get your food so make sure you're not in a rush if you're going here, but it is worth the wait. They even have special themed days sometimes with new items on the menu!

Never have ever I thought about having a hash brown in a brick shape, but I have to say my life is changed! I ordered the waffles with chicken that was wonderful seasoned. To my surprise the waffles were a light green and oh so fluffy. It wasn't on the brunch menu, but I ordered a cherry coke float that added the cherry on top. All of the food was splendid and left me joining the clean plate club! I loved the decor, the light fixtures and diner-style booths made me feel right at home. I really liked the phone as an ordering option, it really added to the experience. I highly recommend for those who have not been yet.

Fizzy's has always been my favorite spot in town. It's so homey with the best ambience and great food & drinks. The specials and brunch are amazing as well! Everyone that works there is really nice too. I come here all the time and bring friends who visit as well.

What a fun experience! We went here for my brother in laws birthday. The staff was great, you order your food through a land line telephone in the booth. They had specialty cocktails. Best nachos I've had in Omaha. Worth every penny

Nice atmosphere. Bartender was very disinterested and not friendly or helpful. This guy was not used to talking to people let alone good service. Out of most things that we ordered. We asked for a suggestion and he just said "whatever we are not out of" and walked off. He seemed frustrated that he had to communicate to us customers.
