Field Club of Omaha

This venue has historic significance in the city of Omaha. This visit was based on an invited event on a weekend afternoon. Parking is plentiful and signs in the front lobby, allowed you to directly head to your event at the assigned room. We were downstairs and hors'douves and drinks were being displayed. The staff constantly refilled drinks and removed plates on a regular basis. Restrooms were clean and clearly marked with distinguishable signs. Overall, a good venue for meetings or special events in a central location in Omaha.

We love how family friendly the Field Club is! The staff are all so kind and welcoming, and it's not a stuffy club at all! We are looking forward to the renovations on the club house as it will make it feel a little more modern, yet classic!

What a nice retreat in the middle of Omaha! Beautiful grounds, fine food and delightful service. I highly recommend the Field Club of Omaha for your family.

My review is for poolside food, although I recommend the dining room as well. That will be a review for another time. The menu is extensive, unusual for poolside IMO. We had the Hawaiian pork, a classic cheeseburger, ghe Aloha burger, the Thunderbird salad and kids chicken fingers. All sandwiches come with a choice of fries, fruit, slaw, cottage cheese or chips. The fries were crispy and hot. The fruit was excellent: watermelon wedge, strawberry, and a big chunk of pineapple, cantaloupe and honeydew. Chicken strips were crispy, hot and moist inside. Just right. The pork was a generous serving with a generous amount of BBQ sauce. The burgers were tasty-not fabulous but thick and adequate. Could have used more seasoning. Salad was also a good choice with generous greens, tomatoes, Swiss cheese and bacon, topped with homemade thunderbird dressing. Our server was polite and our order came very quickly. We will be here a lot this summer so I'm pleased to know the selections are excellent and the service is too.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here several weeks ago and it was wonderful. Not only was the food delicious, the atmosphere nice and cozy, and the service staff attentive, but Dawn, the wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing. She single handedley saved me from a bridal meltdown the day before the wedding.The Friday before the wedding, I showed up at the Field Club with about 75% of my decorations ready and my ideas totally scattered. I spent months and months online searching for the perfect tabletop and the best lighting, but the day before the reception, I was stressed beyond belief and I no longer cared if my tabletops matched my theme or not. However, Dawn listened to my rambling and told me not to worry about a thing. She double-checked to see if I had eaten that day, and sent me off on my way feeling so much better about everything. Two hours later, I realized I had forgotten to create several important name cards and I sent her a quick email. She responded back that it wasn't a problem at all and she'd create something for them. When I showed up at the reception, I was amazed at what she had done to the room! She had totally transformed it! I later found out that she and her husband had sliced over 120 wine corks for me the night before the wedding! How is that for customer service?!?! If you're planning any sort of event, Dawn will totally take care of you! The room itself is beautiful (I also rented the Swing Room- it was perfect for all the Husker fans that wanted to sneak quick peaks of the game through out the night) and the outside deck is perfect if the weather is nice! All in all, highly recommended!!

I'm from Omaha. My husband is from Utah. We live in California. :) So, when we recently got married, we wanted to have a reception to celebrate with all of our family and friends in Omaha. The Field Club fit our needs perfectly. We were able to choose from a wide variety of food and beverages for our guests, and the space we chose was spacious, yet intimate. They provided us with microphones, slide projectors, and just made everything so easy!Dawn (their new event coordinator) is wonderful. She transitioned into the job only a week or two before our event. Because of this, she did a thorough check up to make sure we were all on the same page, and went above and beyond to make sure the afternoon ran smoothly. Excellent customer service from both her and her wait staff. :)

Excellent customer service. My fiancé and I actually recently put a deposit down to have our wedding ceremony and reception here.Caitlin the event coordinator is the best, I've known her since high school and she absolutely sold us on their venue. Prices are very competitive, very easy to work with so far.We are even considering joining the club as members! Will have an updated review once we have our ceremony and reception!

We went here for our dinner and had a delicious meal. I ordered the crabcakes salad that came with two big crab cakes and a nice salad. Dressing was on the side which was really nice. The other people at my table had the hamburger that look delicious the Greek salad and the Cajun salad. They have a nice wine and beer selection. Service was great. For dessert we tried almost everything on the menu and shared. The pecan pie was my favorite although their Apple pie that is kind of deconstructed was also great. Overall the meal was not expensive. I would recommend this place to anyone, specially if you need to impress someone or for a work meal!

The bartenders Dan and Bridgette provided OK service... Bridgette was trying to keep the line moving and get drinks out quickly but Dan would not stop taking shots with the customers. So unprofessional!

Having our wedding reception at Field Club was one of our best decisions in the wedding planning process. Caitlin, the event coordinator, is absolutely amazing and so great to work with. She was incredibly helpful in the planning process and the day of our event. The layout at Field Club is flexible and was able to comfortably accommodate our 200 guests. We loved the veranda at Field Club which allowed our guests to enjoy being outside without having to rely on the weather for a completely outdoor event. The food was so delicious and everyone really enjoyed it!
