Very perplexed by this place. Fala's used to be stuffed to the brim with random junk they were selling - candles, spices, jewelry. In between the junk there were little tables and nooks to eat. It was chaotic but I suppose part of the appeal. However now there are maybe three racks of overpriced junk and a weird mix of chairs and tables. It looks like they went to multiple business office closing sales and bought a few tables and chairs from each. My sister said "this place has bad vibes." The counter was cluttered and dirty and the display case was dark and messy.We each ordered a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. My regular brewed coffee was pretty good. My mom and sister ordered cinnamon roll lattes. They were sickenly sweet, and my sister's iced latte came out hot. However, we had already been waiting so long, she just drank it hot.The breakfast sandwiches were ok except for the bacon...I don't even know how to describe it. It was almost a yellow color, really thick cut, and wobbly. It grossed me out too much to eat it.I'm assuming/hoping they are renovating or something and that's why it's such a hot mess, but they honestly should think about closing while they are in the process because the impression being left now is very poor.

My daughter and I love Falas. Perfect environment to shop locally, eat delicious food while sipping on wine or a coffee. The selections are so unique and cute. I highly recommend for anyone wanting that small town shop vibe :)

Fala's was an unexpected treat. Found it here on yelp. while looking for a brunch location as I happen to be out in Gretna. The space has a boutique feel that is very unique. The coffee and food were good, the ambience is nice with plenty to keep you entertained.

This place is a hot mess. It's near impossible to get service, despite asking multiple times to place an order. Need silverware? That's going to take a while. The food is bistro-priced but somehow not bistro-level desirable. Oh, and on our second visit they double-charged my wife's credit card. That's two strikes, Fala's. You're not going to get a third swing from us.

Went to Fala's with a group of friends. Everyone had been raving about how great the food was so I was ready to try it. The service was friendly and the manager was even friendlier!My sandwich, The Green Machine, was okay and the pasta salad was quite bland. I tried someone's cucumbers which were amazing with their special seasoning. Everyone else said their food was amazing. I was excited to see Apple Cider on the menu. I LOVE Apple Cider. This drink did not disappoint y'all.We didn't have time to look around the store, but, it definitely looked like there were treasures to be found.If in the area, I would definitely try Fala's again.Happy eating Yelpers!

Falas is cute and eclectic, and their breakfast and coffee is very good, but the one time we went we did have to wait a LONG time for our order which was pretty disappointing since there was only one other couple there at the time. I'd definitely try it again since it was good, we just can't go when we are in a bit of a time crunch I guess!

This is such a cute unique place for coffee, brunch or lunch. You're welcomed the minute you walk in the door. They will give you a rundown of their menu. What a huge selection of beverages plus their homemade pastries and baked goods. I didn't have much time looking around at their unique gifts and clothing but I can't wait when I can. Thank you Lilly for the wonderful service and the owners for the great hospitality!! I'm back in the Midwest.

Wanted to support a local Elkhorn business, so we stopped into Fala's. It's a bit off the beaten path; 1 block east of Main Street so don't miss it. The food was great! I had the cilantro lime shrimp salad & my husband had the Rueben panini with pasta salad. All was delicious & generous portions so we had leftovers. Jackie, the owner could not have been more attentive & helpful. And, EVERYTHING is homemade. Save room for dessert! The triple chocolate torte cake was scrumptious & very generous too; so more leftovers! If you're counting calories, but have a sweet tooth, there's smaller dessert options-chocolates, cookies, etc. Like so many businesses, Fala's is looking to add staff, but good help is scarce & hard to find. Be patient if you go & they're busy. It's worth the wait. The store side has eclectic & entertaining merchandise...great gifts & fun housewares. Leave time to browse~

After taking 1/2 hour to make 2 coffees and make one breakfast sandwich that we split and warming up 1 1/2 slices of overdone bacon for $4, the server/counter person decided to add a couple bucks to their tip as our credit card charge when we received our statement did not match our receipt.
