Eyes on Lincoln - O Street Eyecare

I have been on a scavenger hunt looking for the Best optometrist in Lincoln, NE. After three long years, I unearthed the cream of the crop optical store and optometrist.I have been living in a fuzzy world long enough. One realizes how important eyesight is when you don't have it.All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Dr. Webber treated me kindly and respectfully. He really cared about discovering the right prescription for me to have optimal vision.Through trial and error, Dr. Weber was confident he could help me. It took a couple visits to give me 20/20 vision. He was patient with me and confident he could make me see clearly.They had a wide selection of eyeglass frames. The optician that helped me was friendly and super knowledgeable.I got fitted for contacts and eyeglasses. I was impressed how they work as a team.It was clean. It looks like they dust a lot. They take pride in the appearance of the store.I was shocked how reasonable the cost was for eyeglasses and daily disposable contracts.This office, staff, and doctor went up and beyond to meet my vision needs.

I've been going to see Dr. Powell since I was a little girl and even as the years went on, the staff has always been top notch and amazing. Dr. Powell is a great doctor and so are the other working there. They take the time to listen to you and ask questions. I recently moved and really miss going to this place because it is hard to find a place that cares about you, your eyes, that knows what you need and doesn't treat you as a number but as a person. If I had the money I would drive from CO to NE just to have my yearly eye check up! Thank you for a wonderful 20+ plus years of taking care of my eyes and making me feel like I mattered. I hope this place stays around for many, many more years.

Dr. Steve Gildersleeve not only examined my eyes but persisted in finding the correct prescription for my contacts as well as my glasses. He educated, suggested the most cost effective options and during the entire process, he asked for my feedback.His staff, specifically Ladonna, is an expert in suggesting styles and fashion for all ages and offered excellent advice while narrowing my choices to make purchasing glasses easy and fun.I love being able to say that my optometrist is my friend!

I'm a new patient, and I'm glad I switched. I couldn't be happier with both Dr Gildersleeve and the staff. Quick appointments, great customer service and a huge selection of glasses.

Eyes on Lincoln did my post Lasik care and they were amazing!!! Dr. Gildersleeve explained how to take care of my eyes during the healing process and why it was so important that I do so. He provided me with detailed instructions regarding the drops to use and how often and also let me know if I run out that I could come back and see him. The staff has been great as well with getting my follow up appointments set. Always very personal and professional and a GREAT location in central Lincoln at 3200 O Street!
