If I could give this negative stars I would. Wanted them to fix my glasses bc they gave me the wrong type of prescription and I couldnt see and would always get a headache (this was in January 2020). They told me it would arrive after 2 weeks and it took them 5 months and they just kept giving me excuses. They had the audacity to tell me that I wasnt wearing my glasses the right way. The lenses they sent me doesnt even fit the actual glasses frame. The customer service was also terrible and would just send me running around in circles trying to get someone to listen to me. Save your money. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO BACK.

I ran out of my contacts and I HATE wearing my glasses. I called first thing in the morning the next day and the lady there was so helpful and she got me contacts the SAME DAY! I was so thankful that she was so helpful and was willing to go out of her way to get me my contacts!! Love this place!

I've attempt to meet with them for minor repairs to no avail. Between the calling tree waiting and the message stating "busy with other customers"when I'm in their parking lot as the only car. Not going back.

I was in for a routine exam in May. I only went because I had not had my eyes checked for probably 5 yrs. I wear OTC readers and very weak glasses for long distance driving or tv watching. I do not have vision insurance. I paid the extra for mapping of my eye. I have a 30 year history of a nevi on my right retina with no change. When I asked Dr about this he said no change and my eyes looked healthy and gave me a RX that I was walked to the eye glass sales dept by an intern. I told him I would not be buying glasses today because I knew how over priced they were. I went to Costco and got my Rx with a week or two. Immediately after putting glasses on vision was more blurred than normal and wavy. I mentioned this to optician and he try them for a week or two which I did. This did not improve so he tested the correction in glasses and said it was correct. I then called EyeCare Specialties which said I needed to give in a couple more week. I did and no change. I went back to Costco optician and he said you need to go back to your Optometrist and get your eyes rechecked and we will change glass for no charge. I called office and I got the run around again. This time the receptionist said we will have to call you back. I never received a call back. I called on more time with no avail. Yesterday I got an appointment with a very experienced caring Optometrist at Costco. My eyes were mapped again and the Optometrist performed several test along with am Amsler Grid and said that I needed to see a retinal specialist as I either have a hole, cyst or tumor on my Macula. The waviness I was seeing was likely the result of this. I have 4 other friends and 1 other friend of a friend that have had the same issue with receiving the wrong RX at EyeCare Specialties in the past year. I never mentioned that my RX was also wrong.

Wife and children went in for an insurance-covered eye exam. They wanted to do a follow up with one of my children in two months. We explained that in order for insurance to cover, they would need to get an authorization, which is a simple process. Wife and child showed up two months later and they indicated that we didn't need an authorization. They declined the appointment. Months later we received a bill for the service they did not provide. Insurance declined to cover because there was no authorization for it. One year after the original date of service, we received bills for the amount insurance reduced their original charge because they are in-network providers. Use caution when using this company. They are borderline fraudulent in their billing practices. Our credit score has dropped as a result of charges we are not responsible for. Highly recommend nobody uses this company.
