Ernies Carpet One Floor & Home

I worked with Lisa in sales to get a couch, two chairs, and a mattress in July 2020. She was amazing. I found the couch at NFM for a lower price, and Lisa quickly matched the price. She worked with me on the deliveries and everything was delivered on time and as expected.About 5 months after I purchased the reclining couch, the power went out to the couch and it would no longer work. I called and got Samantha in Servicing and she sent me out a power cord with next day delivery. Wall-ahhhh! It worked. I highly recommend Ernies. I'd really prefer buying from them versus the mega stores.

Just wasted over an hour with Chris, our salesman, looking at recliners. I asked SEVERAL times what my price would be for 2 recliners on two separate styles and if they were in stock. He must have thought he was the only salesperson working because he jumped around from us to several other customers so much that he lost our business. I am not impatient usually but once I know what I want, I just want price and availability. On our way to Nebraska Furniture Mart to see if they can help me.

We bought expensive leather family room furniture that was finally delivered last December. The love seat and chair both recline and both are showing wear on the back which will eventually turn to a hole in the furniture. Ernies has been HORRIBLE to work with to get it fixed or replaced. They have replaced the backs but the new pieces wear out just as quickly. Sidney the repair person has been difficult and condensing. She even said the the pet scratches were our fault ... something we have NEVER complained about. Our complaint is the backs which will eventually have holes. We have even left messages for the general manager, never to receive a call back. Our advice ... don't buy nice furniture there! We will never buy anything there again!

My wife and I ordered carpet from Ernie's in November and was told in late December there was an issue with the order. They rescheduled to late January and called back and said it was yet again delayed. They took no responsibility and blamed the mill who is their supplier. Not impressed.

Had a really ugly experience with this company. I was supposed to have a phone interview. I tried to call back the store and whoever had picked up the phone was extremely unprofessional and very rude. She would much rather argue and lie than to help anybody. Very disgusting and very unprofessional people here from my personal experience.

Looking for Whirlpool range. Salesman spent 15 minutes looking ON LINE for specific model only to tell us he "couldn't find it" and that "they must not make one". Double oven gas range - not all that special. I found it on line within a minute from home! Guess I'll go to Schaefer's and BUY IT!!!!

I have made several purchases over the years, from carpet, to mattresses, to dressers, couches, love seats, appliances and tables. We returned to purchase a new love seat and a couple of recliners and left empty handed due to the mask requirement. Masks have been proven NOT to be effective, says so right on the box from the manufacturer. I went to ernie's in the height of this plandemic and was not required to wear a mask then, so why now? I will not be returning because of this. There are other stores that know the truth and do not require mask wearing. They will gladly help me with my purchase and not require that i wear a piece of cloth or paper over my face that restricts my breathing. If ernie's thinks that they are 'doing their part' to prevent the spread of a 'flu', then they aren't as reputable a business as I once thought. The truth is out there, aka science, but ernie's thinks that they know better. Yes, they have the right to require mask wearing in their store, and I have the right not to do business with them because of this, which is exactly what I have decided to do.

I wish I could give this place 5 stars, but I cannot. When I bought my new home, I furinished it with everything purchased at Ernies's and the service was outstanding. Unfortunately, the service isn't outstanding now, it just okay. My mother purchased an extended warranty on a dishwasher. In February my mother contacted Ernie's with help to get her dishwasher repaired. After three months of frustration, she finally got a new dishwasher. It shouldn't have taken three months, to get this resolved.

I have bought both living room and bedroom furniture from them. As well as a very expensive dining room set. Excellent quality. It has held up well after all these years. After 11 years, the light bulb in my curio cabinet finally went out in me. Yes I could have purchased cheaper, pressed sawdust chip furniture from several big-box stores of unknown alien construction. You get what you pay for. I like Ernie's because they have a nice range of price points. I am currently shopping for sofa and I WILL be buying it from Ernie's. Did I mention, if they don't have it in stock, they will happily special order it for you! Excellent customer service.

My first impression was great love the store and staff and I found a really nice bedroom set for a really good price, that said ..the first thing I said to the sales girl was before I waste your time are the items in here in stock or do u have to order them because I can wait 2 weeks but I'm not going to go for the 4 to 6 week wait of ordering and can they deliver in the morning because I work afternoons and nights...no problem... so yesterday when they called to tell me what time they would be here today between 2 to 4 in the afternoon I'm like I told u I can't be here it has to be in the morning. Today they call and oh they can definitely deliver it in the morning but I have to wait another 2 weeks so now we will be at 4 weeks which I said from the get go I wasn't willing to do. I could of stayed in Lincoln and gotten what I actually wanted by waiting for 4 weeks ordering from a different company. I will never do business with this company again and I would not recommend to any one else either. They are very nice to you though while pulling crap like this.....
