this was a nice hotel, clean a complimentary happy hour including snacks. there was an incredibly long line for the beverages. staff handled it well. chips and salsa, veggies and ranch and cheese cubes for the food part. it was a nice touch. we had a suite which was nice, but can we get a little larger trash can? we're on vacation. after all. they have shampoo and conditioner in the shower and it has the best scent, so if you're allergic to scents don't use it. or be like me and say oh one time won't hurt and thankfully it didn't. the shower did not drain well, the plug kept falling in and I had to keep unplugging it. breakfast is fantastic. made yo order omelets. yum! fried potatoes we're cold, but that omelet! worst part of our stay was someone charged a restaurant/bar charge to our room. my husband told them it wasn't ours, the clerk said "we'll take it off this time." like he was lying. we didn't do it. he. got two beers and those were charged to the room, but this was a separate charge for $28. they need a better system if they plan on accusing guests of trying to get out of their bar bill. the floor plan is super confusing. we couldn't get the door to open back by the parking lot. neither key card or apps would open the door. you never quite realize how big a hotel is until uou have to wslk around it. other than the rude, accusatory staff lady at the front desk it was a good stay.

Very nice venue for a conference of 200 attendees. The staff were excellent. The hotel has an open-atrium design. Free breakfast was excellent. There is also a free evening reception with light snacks and drinks. Starbucks on site but limited hours. The Old market district is adjacent to the hotel with great restaurants and shops. It was a lovely place for a conference.

My work booked this hotel for our conference. They housed a couple hundred of us. The hotel is super close to Downtown Omaha so there is so much that can explored without a car. None of us needed a car to eat out or shop. The staff were incredibly kind. We all had great interactions with them during the check out process, having them hold onto our luggage, and requests for more supplies in our rooms. Their meeting rooms were large. They provided water and helped us through the week with any of our concerns. Also loved their lobby. They had an indoor Starbucks, plenty of space to lounge or study. Their bathrooms were always well kept and I saw the cleaning lady coming in often to tidy everything up. The manager for the meals downstairs was so friendly and interactive. We caught him encouraging his staff and constantly checking in with us asking if everything was tasting good.

This is a solid option for sure. I'm a Marriott gal but the conference I was here for was hosted in this hotel, and I'm glad I decided on staying here.Facilities - I love the big atrium, very sunny. My room was huge with separate living and sleeping spaces. Bathroom was dated but clean. I was on the 5th floor and heard no noise at all. AC is very loud though.Food/Amenities - free breakfast is WAY better than average with a full buffet of choices plus cooked to order eggs and pancakes. Every weeknight from 5:30 to 7 they have free drinks and snacks (chips, salsa, veggies, cheese, very delicious hummus). If you wanted to you could make a light dinner of this. I ate a lot of the hotel catering at my meeting and it was fine.Location - great. Tons of ships and restaurants just steps away. The Old Market area is really nice. Airport is only a 10-15 minute drive. Staff - super nice and helpful.I have no reason whatsoever to come back to Omaha but if I do return, I'd stay here.

We stayed here over a holiday weekend and had a great stay. Unlike some other Embassy hotels, this place is not a 1990's time capsule and has been thoroughly updated. It is in the middle of the Old Market area, so if you want to be in the middle of the action, this is the place for you.The front desk staff was friendly and helpful with all of our questions upon check-in. Our room was clean, well appinted and although we were on the lobby level, the noise didn't carry too much into our room, e.g., it did not wake our small kids up (all that matters). They also had a manager's special happy hour with free drinks. The booze was bottom-shelf and the service at the bar was a bit coarse, but c'mon they were free drinks! I will take that trade. The breakfast buffet was packed and had lots of options and something for everyone in my family to eat. A fully stocked free breakfast is key when traveling with the little ones. One of the only downsides was that the parking is across the street, behind the hotel and it is sort of a pain in the neck to get there if you are schlepping strollers, kid gear, and carrying a salty child that just woke up from a nap.

Really nice lobby. Beautiful atrium. Amazing free breakfast with a nice evening happy hour. My only complaint was that the original room they put me in was clearly a smoking room at some point because it reaked of smoke. I would definitely stay again.

For $200 a night we got a room that had visible damage to multiple areas. Holes in furniture, shredded shower curtains, previous guest's contact lenses in the corner on the floor of the bathroom! The windows don't seal so we had snow on the inside of our window. Snow and frost 1/2 inch thick around the entrie window. The front desk manager with the long brown hair was the rudest person I think I have ever encountered in a hotel! 2 guests, 3 days/2 nights, 2 face cloths (wash cloths). When I asked for more, you would have thought I asked for her a million dollars! I don't know about her hygeine but those are one and done in our house so.... 2 would for sure not be enough! The housekeeper, when I asked for more, held them up and yelled at me and said "these are mine" and walked away. The bartenders during reception hour 2/3 the worst!, 1, she was miserable. Asked to order food and she walked away to put juices away to never return. And Lawd!!! Friday nihgt they lost my keys at valet (you can valet or park in self park 2 blocks away for essentially the same price). Saturday after an hour and a line of 60 people waiting (also for an hour) the valet opened the valet office and told everyone to come in and grab their own keys. No claim check, just honor system. Too bad none of the tags were marked as to where the cars were parked. Took them until Sunday to actually find my car.The area around the hotel is super cute and great restaurant options!! Too bad this hotel put a damper on our weekend!

My stay at Embassy Suites has been impeccable so far. Their free breakfast includes made to order omelette and pancakes with toppings of your choice. The buffet spread also includes your usual - muffin, French toast, sausage, fries/potato, scrambled eggs, cereal, biscuit and different hot and cold drink options. Their evening cocktail hour offers a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The snacks include cold veggies with dip, cheese and tortilla chips & salsa. There's also pretzel snack mix, choco chip cookie bites and fruit gummies. The service during breakfast and evening cocktail hours is attentive and friendly. The room is large and has a separate working and living room space which is perfect for professionals who need to work while on a trip. Beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. Really impressed by this property and will definitely choose this again when I come back to Omaha for the Berkshire Hathaway conference.

This stay was one of the best we have had on a trip. We have two young kids and a dog. Front desk check in was smooth and very friendly. The lobby is also where the restaurant is and the elevators are right there. Our room was clean and cool which was a great reprieve from the 90 degree day. We checked in late (8pm), but still was able to have dinner and drinks before they closed. We went to the zoo the next day which was less than a 5 min drive away. This downtown area was super cute with shopping , bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Pool was clean and the kids enjoyed it after a long hot walk through the zoo. Beds were comfy, room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was above normal included breakfast. Made to order omelets and pancakes with a buffet of other breakfast food, fruit and drinks. There's an "evening reception" that starts at 5:30 with adult and na beverages and snacks. We didn't catch it, but heard good things. Parking lot is across the street and wasn't an issue. Lots of grass to walk my dog around the building and access doors with the key so I didn't have to always go out the front. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Staff were always friendly, things were clean and having our dog with us wasn't an added stress.

BEWARE! You think you're pulling up to Embassy suites valet which is right in front of their hotel but it is a third-party and when we happen to check for our departure that valet would be there early morning so we could get our keys to the car &make our flight we were told they do not open until later so they would put our keys at the front desk. We triple checked this and when we went to the front desk first thing in the morning no one could find our rental car keys. We had to leave the rental car , Uber to the airport and pay to have the rental car towed back to rental. Upon talking to the manager atEmbassy suites we were informed that it was not their problem that it's a third-party, and there was nothing they could do to help us.
