Elkhorn Lawn Care

So sad to update our review to one star! The lawn care is still good, but the billing office requires you to set up an ACH and then they pull random amounts from your account without any explanation or advance notice. Calling the office gets replies that are evasive or downright incorrect. Unfortunately that has soured out experience. We'll be looking for a new lawn care service this year.

Elkhorn Lawn care is trying to collect for an account that is not mine. They even confirmed they have nothing in writing that verifies the account is in my name.

WORST lawn service in Omaha, would give them zero stars if able to!!! Called 2-3 times a month and email pictures to them monthly showing how the weeds dominated my entire yard and never got better. Was told time and time again by the office (Jenny) "the pre-emergence is designed to bring the weeds up". Had to resort going to office managers who sent someone out to spray each month, however never followed up. Finally hired another company in August to finish what Elkhorn Lawns could NEVER do. Cancelled my service and notified they broke several of my flagstones with their equipment...NO RESPONSE. I called them and they said they were sending a check. Got a check for $54 for the last 2 applications (54.00 for step 5 and NOTHING for step 6 because it was free for new customers). What a JOKE, how about you pay to replace the flagstones and NOT DOING YOUR JOB!!! Will definitely let everyone know what kind of people run Elkhorn Lawns!

I have used Elkhorn Lawn Care for mowing and landscape needs. They always provided high quality work and excellent customer service. The mowing is pricey, but it is on par with prices from other companies. They do an excellent job and even took the time to make recommendations on my lawn. I was using a different company for lawn fertilization at the time. Elkhorn noticed the dead spots on my lawn and suggested I change my watering schedule as well as provided other suggestions regarding our lawn care. The technician told their manager and the manager contacted me directly. They truly care about their customers! I will definitely be using Elkhorn for our other lawn needs next year.

I was with Elkhorn Lawn Care for years for Lawn Care needs. They were a small company when I discovered them. Over time they grew, added new serviced and more employees. One of the original founders left. As the company grew, Customer Service decreased. Prices rose, and quality of work declined. Last year Mt Lawn itself had weeds, weeds that they were supposed to spray, and didn't. With the costs increasing, I switched to a new company for my needs. I gave them 3 keys to my gates. When asking for them back, they have "lost them". No offer to replace the locks, which I will now have to do.

We moved 6 months ago and I placed a call to them after using their snow removal for one season. Never received an email, phone or text about any services to be performed as I had in the past then got a $245 debit to my account. Said since it's not in writing too bad !! Will have bank reverse if possible.

In the past they would be a four to five star company. But once I called them to ask if they did a grub treatment and they said yes. I told them that I need them to come out again because I have grubs. Below is what I posted on their FB. The first time I posted it never got posted maybe because it was negative. So this time I posted as a comment to one of their posts.Been one week that I called about my lawn having grubs. They said someone will contact me but have not heard from anyone. I have made phone calls last Friday and Monday.Monday the lady told me that it might be to late because the grubs are probably burrowing in the ground.Will I looked this evening and they are still alive and eating my grass roots.Elkhorn Lawn Service has always done a great job in the past. Meanwhile the grubs are eating my lawn.I Posted here, because I made a post earlier but it must have got disapproved because it was negative post.

Literally the best in the business and the only lawn care/landscaping company that I will use!

I switched to Elkhorn Lawn Care to do my fertilizing about 3 years ago. Best choice I've ever made for lawn care. I could tell after 2 applications that my lawn was gonna make a quick turnaround. I had Japanese beetles come and start eating my tree and they were out in a day to get the trees sprayed. Awesome customer service. Thanks Elkhorn Lawn Care!
