Fantastic service and fair prices. I order glass for my clients and for my personal home from Elkhorn glass. It's the kind of service all businesses should have.

We recently got the glass replaced in our kitchen windows by Elkhorn Glass-Never again. The owner, Rick Sehno, is very rude & unprofessional , glass was ordered in May & measured by Rick. When installed in June we were advised that one window could not be replaced. Rick said we would need a new sash & window. In September when the window was installed, it was not acceptable- cut unevenly on top, sash wood was dirty, weather stripping did not fit window& outside was white, not tan like our other windows. When we addressed Rick with these issues, he was very rude...

Bad Experience with Elkhorn Glass Widow ReplacementWould you do business with a company that... --Loses an order for two of the five windows purchased, resulting in extending the installation schedule by five months --Replaces interior trim poorly --Fails to mention a part is missing on one window's operating mechanism and subsequently blames the manufacturer for not sending it (there were no missing parts on the other four windows). The part was then replaced during a callback service) --Leaves trash from the installation in the rain gutter, bushes and yard --Fails to patch the wall board which was broken during the installation (it was then patched during another callback service) --Fails to fix exterior siding, broken during window installation, due to a dispute with the homeowner regarding the repair process (company owner wants to fix it from the inside of the house while hanging out through the window, and homeowner requires it be fixed from the outside instead, as was done previously when the company had replaced exterior brick molding) --Installer(s) used homeowner's bathroom without asking --Tells homeowner (customer) to "do what you feel you need to do" when homeowner suggested he would file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and other social media platforms if the company would not fix the siding (from the outside of the house) __ Whose owner unleashes a tirade of expletives against the homeowner when making a callback service to finally fix the broken siding (from the outside) -- Whose owner will not return homeowner's calls seeking a fix of the faulty window installations that leak air when the wind blowsThis is our very unsatisfactory experience with Elkhorn Glass thus far during our residential window replacement project. Filing this complaint might have been unnecessary if the owner would have simply responded to homeowner's text and telephone messages regarding the newly discovered, significant wind leakage, but no response was received. Again, I simply ask for the job to be finished and invite the company's owner to visit our house on a windy day, inspect the window installation, and fix it.

Deb in the office is great but she can't make up for the owner. I'll never do business with them again, they don't deliver as promised. The owner is rude, can't show up on time, doesn't communicate well and he seems to be unable to measure a window correctly. Do yourself a favor and find another glass company.

I hired Elkhorn Glass to replace five windows in my 100-year-old home. The owner, Rick, told me during two estimates that he would be replacing rotten wood on the trim outside the window. He did not. I also was given the impression that aluminum coil was included with the window replacement (or at least that the old one was going to be left in tact and extended somehow). Rick knew this was my first home and first time buying windows and failed to tell me that wood would be exposed if window was not wrapped. He never told me that Elkhorn Glass does NOT wrap the window on the outside when installing pocket windows. All four of the other companies I received estimates from wrap the window with installation. This is industry standard, and therefore, that coupled with me being a newbie, he should have emphasized that they do not wrap and should have advised me that if I went with Elkhorn Glass, that I would ALSO need to find a siding company or different window company to wrap the window once done. Now, with bad weather coming, I am in a position where I am scrambling to find a contractor who has time, meanwhile knowing that we are supposed to get rain storms all week. Elkhorn Glass omitted this info and left my coil (previously in good condition) hanging off my house!! Wind blew it off that night leaving wood exposed and water intrusion. They also did not caulk properly, and it is already cracking, leaving my windows vulnerable to cold air and moisture. They slopped caulk on my antique woodwork. One of their installers smelled like weed when he arrived and argued with me when I spoke up about the rotten wood trim not being replaced. When I complained to Rick, he got in my face, told me weed was not a drug, yelled at me, & refused to leave my property, ringing my doorbell repeatedly and then reversing his truck to my garage and dumped all the windows on my driveway (in the rain no less) that he promised to haul away. Then he parked outside my house to intimidate me. Before he left he called me names. I had to call the police because I felt unsafe and at that point, he was a trespasser. EG is unprofessional, sexist & dishonest. I plan to file a claim against their insurance company to obtain reimbursement for damages and have filed a BBB complaint. Steer clear of this company.

Elkhorn Glass did an exceptional job from start to finish. The workmanship is perfect. I had 3 windows that needed to be replaced because of a dark fog between the glass panes. The windows are stacked one over the other in a room with a 10ft ceiling and they go from floor to ceiling. I knew I wouldn't be able to be there to let them in but could have someone there. Deb, the front desk, assured me they could measure and do everything from the outside. She was very knowledgeable and so helpful. . These windows are vinyl wood-clad windows large and very heavy. When I was able to be home, they came and installed them and I'm very happy they look great. I can look and see out now. Great team. very professional and no mess everything is cleaned up and the room is brighter, Come winter these windows will add to the warmth of the room keeping the cold out. If you have window problems this is the place to call - Elkhorn Glass. THANK YOU for a perfect job.

I went in to get three chips in my car's windshield repaired, but the repairs were incomplete at best. All of the chips are shallower than before, but they are all definitely still there and I can see the cracks coming from them when driving. Disappointed to say the least.

We had heard good reviews from the neighborhood app and decided to order a sliding glass door and window before replacing all of our home windows. So many things done wrong and damaged our floor and outside steps. Sliding glass door and screen door latch installed incorrectly. Drip caps damaged and aluminum clad dented. Hole in my wood floor from tools dropped and saw mark showing in the floor after trim replaced. Foam insulation around door frame was spotty and incomplete. The window opening was cut entirely too large and required me to back fill with siding and add larger trim to cover their installation. I did not expect to have to repair and make up for such low quality and inconsiderate worksmanship.
