My fiancé and I went in to look at wedding bands together and the two associates working with us each were very helpful and informative! They gave us a great deal for the two bands we chose and even are helping with resizing my engagement ring! Very happy to support locally owned businesses that want to help their customers! 10/10 would recommend

I'd never been to this branch before, and had stopped going to the main branch on O Street, as it was drifting away from classic jewelry into more "fun" costume type jewelry. Southpoint's pretty ritzy, so maybe that's why this branch of Elder is more classic. They had a few "fun" items (Husker hoop earrings, anyone?) but mostly more traditional jewelry; while we were shopping, someone came in to pick up an engagement ring.They had two vitrines of estate jewelry (pearls; colored stones; some nice cameos); some loose citrines (birthstone of the month); some diamonds, colored stones, watches...as I said, traditional jewelry store type items, which is what I like. They still run Elder's amazing Black Friday sale, so we'll be checking this one out again next year.

Asked for refurbishment of an 1889 family wedding ring for my fiancee. Results were on time, in budget, and far exceeded our expectations. Thanks, Elder Jewelry!

I made a mistake buying a ring from a company a thousand miles away in Houston that doesn't stand behind their flimsy work. My wife took it to Elder's new store on Pine Lake Rd. Kim found us a beautiful diamond for a very reasonable price and made us a really nice quality ring. I wish I had gone there in the first place. They're easy to work with and will help you get what you really want.

Don't! Female owner Katie was rude and sarcastic when they failed to include the extender we paid for with the custom necklace my husband ordered for me for Christmas: Made the third trip to Lincoln -- one hour each way -- after they called to say it was done -- only to find that the extender we paid good money for is not in the case. When I called, Katie said it would not be possible to mail the correct extender (to match the necklace) because I couldn't name the young man who waited on us -- but upon inquiry admitted only two young men work there. Could you ask both of them? At that point, she sarcastically (in a nasty tone) said she guessed she could. No record keeping of what was sold to a customer? Had no problem taking our money (too much), though. Avoid like the plague.

Bought an engagement ring from them 2 summers ago. Was told it was a vintage ring. When my fiancee goes in to get it sized she is told it in fact is not vintage but actually vintage style. The lady who helped me even admitted to saying it was vintage and that she was mistaken. She did apologize but offered nothing but to take the ring back. Fast forward to this spring and we go in and pick out a wedding band to go with her engagement ring and spend hours there getting all the information they need to get it ordered, etc. Months go by without hearing from them. We call only to find that they lost everything they wrote down. No surprise there! Thought I'd give them another chance with a men's band...asked them to look into their website where they order custom made items and never hear back as well.
