We always have a good experience here with friends & family. The service is always friendly and quick. The tables are served with complementary hearty chips and mild salsa.They have a nice lunch menu to choose just about any option you can think of for Mexican food. My go to is their burrito stuffed with beef, rice, and beans with red sauce on top or they have really good pork tips that are tender & juicy!At the end of your meal, they bring complementary cinnamon fried tortilla chips with whipped cream on top and a drizzle of strawberry or chocolate sauce super good.I like to sit in the outdoor area with garage doors open in nice weather. They have a few TVs if there's something you want to watch, they will change the channel for you. Margaritas are tasty here. Definitely worth trying.

We love this place! It's one of my favorite Mexican places in Omaha. It's a classic for a reason! The food is always good, and the margaritas are tasty and not too sweet. They also have a cool margarita flight. The chips are crispy and the salsa is fresh. The staff is always kind and they remember us! The decoration in the restaurant keeps getting better and better. There's lots of cute lights and greenery. Did I mention the great prices?

The restaurant is very clean and pretty, I really liked the lizards on the wall and the flower walls, the waiter was very friendly and fast. The margarita flight my wife ordered was very good, strawberry, mango, peach and original. The free salsa they bring out did not have any flavor I was disappointed, so we ordered the cheese dip and that lacked flavor too, so I wasn't sure how my actual meal would be. I ordered the Burrito El Vallarta and the meal did redeem themselves. It was actually pretty good. My wife ordered chicken on the beach, and that was very good if we come back I would order that. I still do not feel like it is a restaurant that would be my first choice for Mexican. I feel there are other restaurants in Omaha that I would choose before El Varrarta.

All of the food tasted great. The Super Burrito looked a little underwhelming, but made up for it with flavor. By the end of the meal I was full with the chips and salsa. The rice was very moist and very good. My wife liked the chicken fajitas on the beach and I enjoyed the taste as well. The decor was very nice and looked upscale. We will be back for more. The prices were competitive as well.

This was our first time to try El Vallarta. The restaurant was welcoming, clean and nicely lit. We were seated instantly when we walked in. The gentleman who seated us also served us. He was nice but short in speaking with us as he kept himself busy. Chips and salsa were placed on the table rather quickly and our server got our drink orders to us in a timely manner. He was patient with us as we decided what to order and was prompt in taking those orders. My daughter ordered the child's chicken nugget plate which were actually chicken strips. She liked them but didn't like the fries. She also ordered a peach virgin daiquiri but didn't like it. My husband ordered a super burrito , it came with rice and beans. My mother and I shared the fajita's for two. The portions were large and mostly tasted fine. I do think the fajitas were a bit bland for myself but overall everything was fresh and good.

El Vallarta on 125th and Center. Check out this peach margarita! I will get the regular flavor next time. It was more sweet than tequila. But still good. 4 of us got 3-4 drinks out of it I believe. Salsa and chips were great. I got the birria quesadilla and hubs got the fajita. He is not a huge fan of Mexican food but really liked the rice. I'm not a fan of cilantro but the spice in the birria outweighed the cilantro taste. I will try their enchilada next time and hubs will try the t-bone. The service was prompt and friendly from the hostess to the server. I was, however, put off by the 20% automatic gratuity on our ticket for a table of five. Generally, on tables of 8 or more I do see it however I dont appreciate anyone telling me how I must tip. Tip should be the customer's choice not the establishment's choice. Everything was clean and well maintained with plenty of space.

Had lunch here and was not crowded. Nice dining room, outside area, and bar. We sat inside and other than being near the bathroom when there was a lot of other seating, it was fine.Service was on the slow side and not very attentive. It seemed like a long wait between drinks getting dropped and food order taken. The waiter seemed to disappear for a while.Food was good and decent portion side for the price.This is a bit of a tough location, being off Center and you needing to navigate into the area a little bit to get to the place. Needs to be a place that you really want to go because the food/service/ambiance is all on point.Hope they can step up their game to be more than a 3 star OK place or this spot will probably be for lease again soon.

The kids' oder's were totally messed up, BAD‼What ever taco shells that were used were worse than what ya get off a grocery shelf‼if the kids ain't happy, the whole meal is ruined. What ever kind of tortillas were used for my Enchilada plate.....: never had any tortillas like those, anywhere‼They were thick, white, and definitely NOT corn.... Ordered a side of jalapeños, were served Poblanos , like we wouldn't know the difference ‼One child's taco plate was the only comp..... unfortunately, we are BOTH previous Severs, Bartenders, and Managers... Theoretically.... An upscale Restaurant would have comped the the entire meal‼Not lookin for a free meal..... We've been at this establishment before... was GREAT‼Goin out for a good meal should ALWAYS be Wonderful..... We can't afford to do it often......We will not be back
