El Potrero

El Potrero was absolutely delicious in every way. We had fabulous drinks, the michelada and a jalapeño cucumber margarita. The food was even better than that! We had the Enchiladas Rancheras, a Steak & Bacon Quesadilla, and the Steak Nachos. Every bite was better than the last. The servers were quick and very friendly. The whole restaurant was clean and we loved the decor. We did call for a reservation, but probably wouldn't have needed one. It was overall a great experience and we can't wait to go back. We would recommend that everyone try El Potrero!

The service here was exceptionally fast! I loved the free chips and salsa, and highly recommend ordering the cheese dip. It was fairly priced and DELICIOUS! I tried the flauntas with chicken and it was so good. The portion (you can see in my picture) was huge! I definitely had leftovers for the next day. The giant margarita is also worth it for $17 or so!

Super delicious chips and salsa, bar drinks were yummy and great size. Our main dishes were hot, tasty, and so so good! The service was excellent and the place is very clean! Our second visit here and we will be back

Food was great, service suffered as the restaurant filled. Tasty chips and salsa, killer birria tacos. Place was mostly empty when we arrived by the time our food arrived the restaurant was mostly full. Our server had a hard time keeping up. She was apologetic about the situation but thankfully it only help up the check drop as we had already received our food. I would definitely give this place another try.

Solid, fast lunch service. Fresh chips, the salsa is awesome with a hint of a smoked chipotle. Recommendation Seafood Chimichangas if you're looking for a new spin desire for a Mexican Seafood dish.

AVERAGE BURRITO VS OUTSTANDING BANDThe band won, hands down. The food was a low average, but the seven-piece Mariachi band was awesome.

Chips and Salsa were great! Best part of the meal. I ordered Quesa Birria with Rice. The corn tortilla was soggy and lukewarm. The Birria Broth was nearly cold. Rice was very cold. We told them about the rice and I'm pretty sure they just put in the microwave. My gf ordered the Fiesta Enchiladas and they were lukewarm as well. Service wasn't terrible, had frequent check ins and drinks were filled. But I probably won't eat there again.

$20 tequila chicken was supposed to haves grilled chicken but instead they used low quality stewed chicken thighs pieces mixed in rice and sauce all covered in cheese. hard to tell where the chicken was and moslty only rice and chees and very little chicken at all! for $20 I except one whole chicken breast cut into strips. seriously not worth the money. salsa and chips good. service/ they try but miss the mark for American service standard, but nice and friendl. drinks are overpriced. but tasty. they charge a ton for veggies in quesadilla which makes it double the price, seems silly. imho I want to like it but feel it's less than great every time I go back.

Average Mexican food, indifferent service, seriously overpriced for the area. The portions are generous, and venue decent. So many better places in Lincoln... no reason to return to el Potrero or el Toro.

The best Mexican food in Lincoln without a question. Chips were warm, freshly cooked. Homemade salsa was perfection. Highly recommend arroz con pollo and carne asada tacos. Staff was friendly and service was prompt.
