The food here is amazing. The carne asada is so tender and flavorful. The burrito is HUGE and packed full of meat. We will be coming back again and again.

The food here is outstanding and the prices are very reasonable. Tonight we had tamales, carnitas quesadilla, and nachos asada. All were delicious! And they're very fast turning around to-go orders. Highly recommended.

Meat was dry, rice was dry, beans were okay. The tortillas were kind of stale. The service was great.

Five stars all around the food was amazing some of the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. I got the marinated chicken over chilaquiles and it was delicious and spicy. I personally love hot sauce and my dish was so spicy that I did not need extra sauce which is a rare thing for me. So if you like heat it is a must try. My husband had the marinated pork burrito and he ate the whole thing with a little bite for me!! We will definitely be back. The restaurant is very small with only two tables and a little bit of counter seating. We did opt to eat there which was fine for us since there were only two of us. The men working at the restaurant were very nice. We mentioned it was our first time and he really walked us through the options and made great suggestions!

The street tacos and churros are so good. I always get the tongue ones with no guac. If you like guac I'm sure it would be good still. Quick service tasty food. Not much more you can ask

The Mexican food in West Omaha is bleh at best. The local not-to-be-named chain that everyone tells you you've got to try when moving to Omaha just doesn't cut it. It's average at best. There are a couple we enjoy (e.g., El Vallarta) but as far as authentic Mexican food, I'd not found it out here. So, I was excited to give El Alambre a try in this location at 168th and Harrison. And, let me tell you, it's good. I've only been a couple of times and can only speak to the options I've tried. I've had the chicken and chicken adobado tacos and they are both great, though I prefer the adobado. Plenty of meat, two fresh corn tortillas, cilantro, onion, and guac. So good. I had a tamale the other day and it was very good, too. I prefer a thicker masa with my tamale and this one fits that bill. I went back for more a few days later but they were sold out or didn't have them ready yet? So, it may be hit or miss with tamales on availability. Maybe I just caught them on an off day. The location itself is fairly small, a few tables, some counter seating and not much else. So, for me during COVID times takeout is the way to go. But, I definitely plan to add this to my rotation of lunch/dinner options when looking for Mexican food. It's great.

Best Mexican food I've ever eaten. Me and my family have been coming here since it opened and it's been the best food I've eaten. Prices are very cheap to for the amount of quality you get. Have to try and check out if you are a local or are coming to visit.

I went for the birria and got the Alambre which is close to a fajita but not on the sizzling hot skillet. It comes with a bunch of small corn tortillas and it's dynamite!! We also got a chicken burrito - huge and fantastic!! It's small and local.

The best tacos in West O- hands down. Tonight I ordered the birria tacos, a side of rice/beans, and a horchata. My tacos were absolutely LOADED with meat- so juicy and flavorful. They also double the corn tortillas which helps keep them together when ordering takeout. The rice and beans are pretty standard and round out the meal well. Both salsas are incredible and the spice level on the red adds a nice level of heat. Cooled it down with a fresh, cold horchata at the end. Overall I spent ~$15 (with the $3 horchata) and felt like this was a good value for the quality of food. I always order takeout and have yet to dine in. Ordering online is quick and easy, and my order is always ready on time (typically faster than expected). The service is very friendly. I encourage you to try them out before some of the larger name Mexican restaurants in the area
