I split my time between California and Nebraska. I have a great gym on the west coast and was looking for something similar in Nebraska. Edge Body meets and exceeds my expectations. The workouts are challenging and fun, the trainers are exceptional and there are a lot of options as far as class times. The pay plan is also flexible and works perfectly for someone like me.

While talking fitness with my friend's brother-in-law, he recommended this place that he used to go to. Since he's a soccer coach, I figured he knew his stuff. I reluctantly tried out their free one-on-one class & did a lot of observing of the actual class going on. I'm not a gym junkie . I'm a lap swimmer & Zumba dancer. I've always considered myself to be on the weak side & I've been told that to my face. I joined immediately without thinking twice . If something intimidates you, that means you probably should do it. I'm now about 6 months in & although I have a long ways to go, I'm noticing big results physically, emotionally & mentally. Oh, about 2 months after signing up, the pandemic hit & my apartment gym closed. Guess who stayed open (with rules of course)?? Yep. If it wasn't for this place, I would have been in a bad spot physically & emotionally. PROS:1) amazing coaches who work with you & don't make you feel like a fool when everyone else is bench pressing heavy weight & you just do the bar. They don't make you conform to what everyone else is doing. 2) workouts are always different & you can see the day before what the workout will be (so you can prepare or skip...lol) 3) lots of class times every day of the week! 4) if you can't do something, you will be given an alternative & no one in the class will look at you funny 5) people in class are nice & will help you out 6) definite mood booster. I can have a crappy day & after a workout, my endorphins are kicked in. CONS: 1) you will have days where you will be very sore and/or have trouble walking (is that really a bad thing?!) 2) there might be things that really intimidate you, but you will eventually get over it if you keep showing up 3) you won't start to look like The Rock right away, but you can picture him in your head to motivate you to get through the workout . LOL!! :))

I moved to Omaha in June of 2014. The stress of a new job and no social activities had me packing on the pounds. After a physical I was put on BP medication and had reached a staggeringly high weight.I joined Edge Body in April 2015 with a co-worker who also felt the need to shed a few lbs. The results have been outstanding! I'm down around 40 lbs so far and my overall health has improved greatly. Missy has been a tremendous trainer and is very aware of everyone's ability and limitations. Everyone at the gym has been welcoming and friendly not to mention supportive. If you are looking for a great environment to improve your health, well-being and meet some great people Edge Body Boot Camp is the place to be.

I could not love a "gym" more! I put gym in quotations because Edge is so much more! It's honestly so much fun. The different workouts every day keep me interested, everyone is so encouraging and motivating and I've never felt uncomfortable doing a workout. I've always started a workout program and then quit 10 days later. I'm happy to report that I'm 3 weeks in and still look forward to going to Edge everyday. They offer a free week. Just try it and I guarantee you'll be hooked like me!

After moving to Omaha, I was really trying to find a gym that I could get involved with. I was hesitant about crossfit as many of my friends had been injured in the past at those gyms. After finding Edge Body, I found that it was a high intensity crossfit-like gym, but without the risky weight lifting that requires a lot of skill and training. At Edge Body, I have accomplished my goals of losing a lot of weight and getting back into great shape. The best part is everyone is amazing, social, and welcoming. Could not think of a better gym to be a part of.

The best place to go if you're trying to get into shape. The staff here is amazing! Missy is so very encouraging to get you motivated. I feel comfortable enough to workout in front of people, which is not something I normally like to do. I feel myself physically getting stronger every time I workout. There are several classes to choose from, so it works out great for my schedule. I highly recommend this boot camp!!

Edge Body Boot Camp Omaha is an amazing facility! First of all, it is Hands down the CLEANEST gym atmosphere I've ever been in! Missy Henry (Owner/Trainer) & team clearly focus on the details. Second, the training is top notch. Workouts are designed by Missy to both challenge us and build strength and cardio for weight loss. Every workout is new and fresh and keeps you motivated. Then she throws in strength & challenge days so we can monitor our progress. I LOVE strength days. I think one of the BEST aspects of this environment is the personal attention a person can get from Missy and her team and their ability to provide modifications to every movement to accommodate individual needs. Missy makes sure a workout is challenging to each individual regardless of their physical ability. SHE will call you out if you're slacking and will encourage you to pick heavier weights when SHE KNOWS you can handle it. This is NOT a cookie cutter boot camp or workout and it DOES NOT repeat itself every few weeks so members continue to progress each and every day, month after month. There are even 4 week fat loss challenges for added accountability on the scale & nutrition! The community of members are awesome and I have made many new friends and this review would not be complete without letting you know that EVERYONE is welcomes regardless of fitness level AND are cheered on by Missy, her team AND other members at every workout! Is it easy? NO! Is it worth it? YES! I encourage anyone thinking about it - to try it!
